Snoring Is No Laughing Matter!
It may be more than just an annoying habit, it may be a sign of Sleep Apnea
What Exactly is Sleep Apnea?
When the muscles that control the upper airway relax, some people begin to snore. When the airway becomes completely blocked and the person temporarily stops breathing, this is an episode of “Obstructive Apnea.” Each Apnea event may last for a few seconds or up to a couple minutes or more. Events may happen frequently - even several hundred times a night.
Can This Condition Be Treated? How?
There are many effective treatments for snoring. A widely accepted treatment for Sleep Apnea is oral appliance therapy. An oral device custom fit by your dentist is designed to keep your airway open and help prevent Apneas.
The American Academy of Sleep Medicine
Recommends an oral appliance as a first-line treatment option for patients with mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), and for those with severe OSA who either decline CPAP Therapy or are unable to successfully use CPAP Therapy. This treatment does not involve medications or surgery and helps hundreds of thousands of people all over the world enjoy sleeping safely for a healthier life. Many experience the benefits quickly - often during the first night of use.
Most Of The Health Insurances And Medicare Will Pay For Sleep Apnea Treatment - Call (954) 922-4633 For More Info.

album Living In The Light, out on Friday, October 10th, 2025. Recorded and mixed with producer Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton, Phish), Living in the Light is a virtuosic blend of acoustic pop, jazz, classical, and roots music delivered by one of the modern era’s most accomplished and versatile guitarists. The announcement arrives alongside the official video for the propulsive debut single “Scarlett’s World,” dedicated to Emmanuel’s granddaughter. “I tried to write a theme that sounded like it came from the 80’s,” Emmanuel explains. “Scarlett is my granddaughter, soIdedicatethissongtoherandherjourney through life. However, there is a part of me that wanted to give a nod to Scarlett Johansson as I am a big fan. She’s one of myfavoriteactresses.”
Emmanuel captured most of the performances on Living in the Light in one or two takes, and the sense of joy and wonder in these sonic explorations is more than just palpable; it’s intoxicating. While
several of the album’s tracks, as well, grounding his dazzling, percussive fretwork with a poignant dose of warmth and vulnerability. “There are elements of rockabilly, blues, even traditional African music all woven into the music,” Emmanuel explains. “I’m a world traveler, and I’ve absorbed so much music along the way. It all gets synthesized through a kind of osmosis into my psyche and my soul and then comes out in my own unique style.” Tommy Emmanuel first began touring at the age of six in his native Australia as part of a family band. In his teenage years, he turned heads as a highly sought after session player and sideman, and by his early twenties, Emmanuel was playing on chart-topping hits and performing with some of the biggest names in Australian music, including Air Supply and Men at Work. Inspired in part by his hero, Chet Atkins (who would later become a friend, mentor, and collaborator), Emmanuel stepped out on his own as a solo artist in 1979, releasing the first in a string of critically and commercially acclaimed instrumental albums that would make him an unlikely celebrity in

NPR’s World Café declared him “one of the best acoustic guitarists in the world,” while the NewYorkTimes hailed him as a “prodigy,” and Atkins crowned him with the title of Certified Guitar Player (an honorary only everbestoweduponfourotherartists).
Emmanuel continued to push himself throughout his career, relocating permanently to Nashville in the early 2000s and collaborating with a rising generation of guitarists like Jason Isbell, Molly Tuttle, and Billy Strings on his latest studio albums, Accomplice One and Accomplice Two. “Those albums were a real labor of love,” Emmanuel explains, “and I was thrilled with how they came out. But I felt a strong desire to focus on my writing again after that, and I found that the

Thinking Cap Theatre (TCT) has revealed its Fall 2025 Season as the resident theater company of the Hollywood Art and Culture Center (HACC). TCT’s fall 2025 lineup includes the 2nd Annual Women’s Equality Day Event, which now hosts the ERAS – a new regional award to honor South Floridians who are championing gender equality – and two main stage productions, the provocative rock musical Lizzie the Musical, about alleged VictorianaxemurdererLizzieBorden, and Cymbeline, a rarely staged, genre-defying workbyWilliamShakespeare.
“We are excited to celebrate 15 years of TCT with a dynamic lineup of programming for Hollywood residents and South Florida at large,” says Nicole Stodard, TCT’s Founding Artistic Director. “There is so much amazing development and growth in Hollywood’s downtown area as the City of Hollywood turns 100 and HACC turns 50 this November! It’s an exhilarating time to be working here and partnering with HACC,” Stodard adds. To boot, TCT’s recent residency marks the return of professional theater to Hollywood for the first time since HollywoodPlayhouseclosedin2003.

About Suffragette Plays:
Dubbed “parlor plays,” these short suffragette comedies were privately printed and originally intended for amateur performance at home in, you guessed it, people’s parlors. In the late 1970’s, while doing research at Radcliffe College, scholar Bettina Friedl rediscovered these long forgotten treasures and compiled them into a special edition. These dramatic gems humorously and pointedly tackle issues such as the work/life balance dilemma and the oppressiveness of socially-prescribed gender roles. Viewers can expect to enjoy some laughs and marvel at both how far we’ve come and how we’ve still to go in the journey for equal humanrights.
Lizzie, The Musical
In October 2025, just in time for Halloween season, TCT will present Lizzie, The Musical, a provocative and pulsating musical exploration of the legendary 1892 trial of Lizzie Borden, who was accused and ultimately acquitted of brutally murdering her parents with an axe. Lizzie, The Musical offers up a delicious blend of history and anachronism in its exploration of Lizzie’s oppressive upbringing, troubled relationship with
her father, and unapologetic defiance of Victorian norms and courtroom accusations. Fueled by a searing rock score, raw emotion, and dark humor, Lizzie, The Musical is a blistering portrait of one of America’smostinfamousfigures.

There are tribute bands, and then there are experiences — those rare musi cal moments where the line between homage and heartfelt embodiment blurs into something utterly unforgettable. That’s exactly what you can expect when Doctor My Eyes – A Tribute to Jackson Browne takes the stage at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Friday, October 10th, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. This isn’t just a concert — it’s a time machine to the golden era of American singer - songwrit ers, where heart met harmony, and lyrics toldstoriesthatfeltlikeyourown.
If you’ve ever closed your eyes and let Jackson Browne’s music wash over youthe poetic melancholy of “Late for the Sky,” the raw energy of “Running on Empty,” or the reflective brilliance of “The Pretender” - then you’ll want to witness what fans across the country are calling the most authentic tribute to the Rock andRollHallofFamerontheroadtoday.
More Than a Tribute—An Emotional Journey
At the heart of this incredible show is Hayden Greyson, a stunning performer whose likeness to Jackson Browne in his ‘70s prime is uncanny—but it’s the voice that truly stuns. Close your eyes, and you’ll swear you’re hearing Browne him self. From the piercing honesty of “Doctor My Eyes” to the wistful glow of “Tender is the Night,” Hayden doesn’t just perform the songs—he lives them, channeling their emotional depth and nuance with breathtakingaccuracy.
Having graced the stages of iconic venues like the Count Basie Theatre and B.B. King’s Blues Club, Hayden brings the same impassioned delivery to every show. Florida audiences have already embraced his performances with sold-out enthusiasm, and Aventura is next in line to be captivated.
What makes Doctor My Eyes so special isn’t just Hayden’s lead—it’s the all-star ensemble that surrounds him. Each musician brings decades of experience, soul, andauthenticitytothestage:
Meredith Corsillo, a powerhouse New York-based session singer, adds percussion and background vocals reminiscent of Rosemary Butler and Bonnie Raitt. Her harmonies elevate every chorus and bring that essential Jackson Browne richness to theforefront.
Cisco Colet brings emotional depth and texture with every note on acoustic,
electric, and slide guitar. A veteran of London’s music scene, Cisco taps into the spirit of Browne’s longtime collaborator David Lindley, re-creating those unforgettable lap steel moments with reverent finesse.
Tommy Tennies, with a career rooted in classic rock and R&B, fills the air with lush keyboard textures and vintage B3 organ swells. With 15 years on the Las Vegas Strip and multiple bands under his belt, Tommy adds a layer of musical authenticity that defines the show’s sonic backbone.
On bass, Rudy Pagliuca is more than a rhythm man - he’s a Latin GRAMMY Award-winning producer whose work with the Latin rock band Malanga has earned international acclaim. His dynamic, melodic playing breathes fresh life into each track, honoring the original whileaddingnewcolor.
Rounding out the rhythm section is Jay Wood, a versatile drummer with over four decades of live performance experience.
Having opened for legends like The Charlie Daniels Band and Bret Michaels, Jay’s drumming is both grounded and expressive, keeping the engine of this musicalmachinerunningatfulltilt.
A setlist that reads like a greatest hits album, expect all the classics and fan favorites: “Doctor My Eyes,” “The Pretender,” “Running on Empty,” “Here Come Those Tears Again,” “Take It Easy,” “Somebody’s Baby,” “That Girl Could Sing,” “Stay,” “Tender is the Night,” “Late for the Sky,” “Fountain of Sorrow” and manymore.(Setlistmayvary.)
Each song is presented with a deep reverence for the source material and a performance quality that elevates it into something larger than nostalgia - it becomes a living, breathing celebration of JacksonBrowne’slegacy.
More Than Music - A Shared Experience
Whether you’re a lifelong fan who wore out your vinyl copy ofThe Pretender, or someone discovering Jackson Browne’s
magic for the first time, Doctor My Eyes offers an experience that connects. It’s music for the soul, performed by artists who genuinely get it —the poetry, the emotion, thecraftsmanship.
And let’s not forget: this isn’t just a concert, it’s a gathering. Fans across generations will come together at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center to sing, sway, and share in the beauty of timeless music.

It’s never too early to think about Halloween, and who better to celebrate the fast-approaching holiday with than the denizens of Dr. Frank N. Furter’s home-sweet-castle in Richard O’Brien’s beloved cult classic, The Rocky Horror Show. Entr’Acte Theatrix is inviting audiences to come do the Time Warp again… when they present ‘Rocky’ in the Bhetty Waldron Theatre at Actor’s Rep from Friday, October 10th, 2025 through Sunday,October26th,2025.
The Rocky Horror Show is an outrageous assemblage of - and humorous tribute to - the most stereotypical science fiction and horror movies, Marvel comics, Frankie Avalon/ Annette Funicello outings, and rock ‘n’ roll of every vintage. The play; upon which the classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show is based, has grown from an experimental production originally produced in a small London theatre in June 1973, to a cult phenomenon with fans world-wide. The musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple who, when caught in a storm, find refuge in the home of a decidedly unusual scientist who is madly working towards unveiling hislatestandgreatestcreation.
Rocky is also the quintessential audience participation show, and Entr’Acte will have what have come to be known as ‘survival kits’ available for purchaseforthosewhowantthem.
This is the fifth time Entr’ActeTheatrix will presentThe Rocky Horror Show.Their 2012, 2014, 2017, and 2019 productions were so successful that when an encore presentation was suggested, it was, as Entr’Acte’s founder and producer Vicki Halmos says, “A ‘no brainer’! Our audiences love the show,” she continues, “and so does our cast. You can see it during rehearsals. Their enthusiasm is boundless, and they are so excited to be able to bring all these characters to life –figuratively and literally!” she says with a smile.
Carlo Rufino Sabusap, who has appeared in each of the company’s Rockys, as well as numerous other Entr’Acte productions, will direct the production.
“In an age and political climate where we should be progressing as a society and species, we are instead given constant reminders that bigotry is living strong and
that people who are different from the status quo are considered less than people, and in some cases, stripped of their rights,” he says. “Rocky Horror celebrates the idea of the outsider. We not only want the audience to have fun, but they should also realize that the enjoyment they are experiencing is because a group of wildly different people from different backgrounds and life experiences worked together to make something great. This is our 5th time mounting this show, and I believe it is our value of working TOGETHER, and including our differences, that we are makingsomethingGreatAgain.”
Cast in Entr’Acte’s Rocky Horror Show
are Elijah Pestana as Brad Majors, Rose Foster as Janet Weiss, Trevohnn Garner as Frank N. Furter, Carly Graefe as Magenta, Amalia Phend as Columbia, Greg Halmos as Riff Raff, Ace Gilliam as Rocky, Matthew Mayer as Eddie, Cherry Rivera as the Usherette, David Taylor as Dr. Scott, and Jason Fisher as The Criminologist. Also in the cast are Christia Santi, Sarah Romeo, SarahKenny, andAdlerMonpremier.
Along with Director Sabusap, the show’s production crew includes CoProducer Greg Halmos, Musical Director Aaliyah Amoin, Choreographer Sarah Kenny. Lighting and Tech is by Elizabeth Southwell, andsoundisbyAtlasSaavedra.
The Rocky Horror Show will run for 12
performances only, from October 10 – 26 in the Bhetty Waldron Theatre at Actor’s Rep. The theatre is located at 1000 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401. Tickets are on sale now, and are available online at: https://linktr.ee/ entractetheatrix.

The City of Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is proud to announce that it is the first law enforcement agency in the state of Florida to implement a fully operational, non-beta Drone as First Responder (DFR) program in partnership with Skydio and Axon – leaders in autonomous drone and publicsafetytechnology.
Through this cutting-edge program, the Department is deploying NDAA-compliant American-made Skydio X10 drones to enhance emergency response and improve situational awareness in real time. In addition, drone charging and deployment hives, known as “Docks,” will be strategically placed to enable officers to respond to most calls in less than 2 minutes, at any time, and in most weather conditions. The drones will be used in a variety of critical scenarios, including:
•Searchingformissingpersons
•Locatingfleeingsuspects andstolenvehicles
•Monitoringlargecrowdsandtraffic
•Assistinginmedicalemergencyresponse
Unlike traditional drone programs, the Skydio X10 can launch within 20 seconds, reach speeds up to 45 miles per hour, and provide live aerial footage directly to officers’ phones or computers – even beyond the line of sight, thanks to advanced autonomy and FAA authorization. The drones are equipped with thermal and infrared imaging, enabling officers to operate effectively in low visibility andatnight.
The program will be operated by the Department’s newly formed Drone Unit, whosemembershaveallearnedFAAPart107 remote pilot certifications. The unit was created in line with strict compliance to federal regulations and city policy to ensure the ethical and safe use of drone technology in publicsafety.
“Thisisanincredibleadditiontoourpublic safety efforts,” said Chief Edward Santiago. “This new technology allows us to respond to emergencies faster, gain critical information before officers arrive on scene, and ultimately protect both the public and ourofficersmoreeffectively.”
The implementation of this program aligns with the City’s broader commitment to innovation, transparency, and community safety. Sunny Isles Beach leads a growing number of municipalities nationwide embracing drone technology as a force multiplierinmodernpolicing.

(Family Features) Little children experience big emotions. When things don’t go as planned or they feel overstimulated or face new experiences, children may respond with anger and frustration, fueled by feelings of shame, embarrassmentorevenasenseofinjustice.
Because young children often don’t have the language or regulation skills to handle these big feelings, they can result in tantrums, mood swings, rebellion and emotional outbursts, which may trigger feelings of embarrassment and exasperation for parents. Fear not; every parent hasbeenthere.
Dr. Lauren Loquasto, SeniorVice President and Chief Academic Officer at The Goddard School, and Kelly Oriard and Callie Christensen, co-founders of Slumberkins and authors of “All Feelings Welcome,” share guidance to help parents effectivelydealwiththesesituations.
Parents are most effective when they stay calm, speak quietly and move slowly. Counterbalance your child’s extreme emotion and behavior with the opposite extreme. Take deep breaths and stay near
yourchildwhiletheemotiondissipates.
Scolding only heightens the emotion, so start with empathy, not discipline, and affirm the feelings. For example, “We all get angry sometimes,” or “It makes sense thatyou’refeelingthisway.”
Help your child label feelings and seek to understand what caused the outburst. Try “sportscasting” - objectively narrating what you see. For example, “I see you taking deep breaths. I see your cheeks are puffed up and your fists are clenched. I know your sister just took your toy and that might make you feel angry. Are you feelingangry?”
This technique can help your child associate physiological feelings with an emotionallabel.
Once calm, work with your child to repair and reconnect. Share your coping techniques. For example, “I feel angry sometimes. When I get angry, I like to stomp my feet and turn up my music. Do youwanttotrythiswithme?”
Model this often, either when you’re upset or as a teaching moment by pretending to feel angry. Real-life examples help normalize feelings and teach emotionregulationskills.
If you acted in a way you regret - yelling, for instance - address it by apologizing and taking responsibility. This grounding can help you and your child moveforward.
While big emotions and corresponding behaviors are a natural part of early childhood, there are steps you can take to help mitigatefuturemeltdowns.
Develop a routine and stick to it as much as possible. Children thrive with structure; the unexpected or unknown can lead to emotional dysregulation. That said, there will always be disruptions and transitions - some small (such as an outof-town houseguest) and some large (like moving or welcoming a new sibling). Discuss these moments in advance to help your child anticipate and prepare for thechange.
Certain situations, such as the grocery store or a public event, may be triggers for children. Avoiding these situations altogether won’t help them learn, so prepare them with social scripting. Tell a story about the situation, discuss what they’ll experience and how they might feel and
label the emotions. This talk can reduce anxiety, build confidence and make the situationmoremanageable.
Additionally, it’s important to recognize a child’s emotional state can be intertwined with yours; if you’re overwhelmed, stressed or anxious, your child may pick up on that and experience some of those same feelings. Likewise, if you’re calm, yourchildismorelikelytobe, too.
When children are not in a heightened emotional state, reading books about characters and big emotions can be helpful. Pause and ask them what they think the character is feeling and if they ever feel that way. Consider “Hammerhead, Mad’s Not Bad” and “Felix and the Picnic.”
