By Eleanor Hannan Alabama is an American country music and southern rock band from Fort Payne, Alabama, founded in 1969 by Randy Owen, lead vocalist, and rhythm guitarist. The band’s blend of traditional country music and southern rock, combined with elements of gospel and pop music, gave the band a combined appeal that helped lead to their unprecedented success as they toured extensively. • Alabama has continued to score hit after hit from their very first greatest hit album released in 1986, that included the song: “She and I” Everything he accomplishes in life is very well thought out. No matter how crazy or incredible the most adventurous feat is, he will not allow it to defeat him. In achieving his ideas he is very exact, cool, collected and no one can challenge him or change his mind. Evidently, his personality has never changed. He attended the Economic Institute of Engineering in Novosil, a town in the Orlovsk province of Leningrad which he left, disappointing his mother's dreams of him becoming an engineer. He began working in pantomime, he lovingly named "Expressive Idiotism," bringing him a great deal of popularity. He was crowned as the artist laureate of Estrada, the Russian showbiz stage. The show is a fusion of traditional and contemporary theatrical clowning arts that brilliantly creates a world of wonderment and fantasy, transporting the audience into a joyous dreamland where a bed becomes a boat in a storm-tossed sea, a child walks inside a bubble while Slava boards a train and then becomes the train, the chimney-pot hat billowing smoke and a web of unspun cotton that completely surrounds the audience. The brilliant finale has a letter turn into snowflakes that turns into a snowstorm, whirling around the theatre leaving the audience ankle-deep in snow. Not recommended for children under 8 years. This remarkable world of wonder, a reminder that no one is ever too old to enjoy

clowns, takes center stage in the Ziff Ballet Opera House now through August 25, 2013. For tickets and

show time information, call the box office at: (305) 949-6722, located at 1300 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami.
