HOLLYWOOD - I have said it over and over again when it comes to the City of Hollywood. But after last Sunday's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celebration in downtown, it is worth mentioning again. National budget cuts will find their way down to smaller cities, such as Hallandale Beach - soon!
HALLANDALE BEACH - On March 1st the Sequestration went into effect and many of us have yet to feel any change in our daily lives from this across the board cut. The cuts will trickle down to all of us; especially the most vulnerable, our children and the disabled right here in Hallandale Beach. We can all agree that there is an opportunity to evaluate and cut budgets where it makes sense. Families like yours and mine do it; local governments and the national government should do the same. What is missing from the dialogue is reality. The Nation’s budget was cut this year to ward off the fiscal cliff and these cuts are being applied; not to a new budget cycle, but the current budget year. The last round of cuts impacted cities by reducing programs that help offset the cost of providing services to our families and neighborhoods. In essence, if grants are cut and we still must provide services, costs are displaced on the backs of local communities and our fellow neighbors. COPS, Community Orientated Policing Program grants that help put more officers and resources on the street were cut by 79%. Clean Water and drinking water funds were cut by 28% and 34% respectively. And

Community Block Grants were cut by 27%. This does not include the education cuts and human service cuts. In our city CDBG helps to fund much needed infrastructure projects and the after school program at our Hepburn Center. Human Service Programs like Meals on Wheels will be affected immediately. Representatives of the programs have already cut staffing and are projecting to cut meals to 4
days a week rather than seven to our disabled residents and seniors. These meals are typically the only food they receive. In Hallandale Beach there is a waiting list for Head Start. Further cuts will mean that many young children will not have day care and those in it now may be cut. This means parents that are at poverty level depending on care so they can work will have to find other care, or worse; stop working. FEMA cuts have already impacted the victims of Sandy and will have a chilling effect on flooding and emergency food and shelter programs. Everyone in Florida certainly knows how critical these programs are. This past week Vice Mayor Lewy and I both were lobbying our Congressional and Senate Delegations alongside other Florida elected officials. It is, and will re-
main, regretfully; a partisan battle and the losers are all of us. In my opinion the worst message was there was not compromise on pulling oil subsidies and farm subsidies to add revenues. When we asked Senator Rubio’s aide, he shared their leadership has considered closing these loopholes as a tax increase. As a nonpartisan group, the Florida League of Cities has been challenged to take this issue to our cities and encourage all our residents to contact the congressional leaders to stop the sequestration. BUDGET KICK-OFF We have started our budget off with our neighborhood budget meetings. The city commission and staff have met with neighbors from the SE, NW and the SW sections of our city. Many residents have also been randomly selected to participate in a Citizen Survey. If you have received the survey please take the time to fill it out. We want to know what your thoughts are on the delivery of services and how we can be more accountable and effective in addressing our neighborhood needs. "Then he told me about the (PresbyLasik) procedure and said I'd be a good candidate." Jose had the painless procedure and today, he can see clearly both for distance and for reading. "It's nice not to have to wear glasses anymore," he says. "I enjoy being able to see again." Jose was so pleased with his result that Alma decided to see if she might qualify for PresbyLasik. A month after her husband had the procedure, she, too, visited the Braverman Eye Center. She was doubtful about her candidacy, however, for a couple of reasons. Her prescription was stronger and more complex than Jose's. "I wore trifocals," she says. "I work a lot at the computer and I was having problems. I couldn't see TV without glasses--everything was a blur -- and I couldn't see signs when I was driving." The other reason Alma wondered whether the procedure could be successful for her: "I'd been told I wasn't a candidate for Lasik," she says. "I didn't think I'd ever be able to go without glasses." But Jose kept urging her to try again. And at a visit to the Braverman Eye Center, Alma discovered that technology had changed since she last inquired about corrective vision surgery. During the consultation, she learned that she was indeed a candidate for PresbyLasik. Alma decided to go ahead. "My husband was so happy with his outcome that he convinced me to have the procedure," she says. Just as it was for Jose, PresbyLasik was successful for Alma. Now, whether they are at work, out for a drive, watching a movie or walking their dogs, two German shepherds and an Australian sheepdog, they do it without the inconvenience of glasses or contacts. "I'm very happy not to have to wear glasses," Alma says. "It took me awhile to figure out I didn't need them anymore. I kept putting my finger on my nose to push them up. I feel very grateful. Both of us have recommended Dr. Braverman to friends." Dr. Braverman started doing the PresbyLasik procedure around one year ago. It was introduced into the United States approximately six years ago, having originally been done using the Allegretto Wavelight femtosecond laser by an Italian Eye Surgeon, Dr. Roberto Pinelli. This is the same Laser that Dr. Braverman uses. Dr. Braverman said “this technique was developed by taking what Eye Surgeons already knew about how Lasik changes the shape of the front of the eye to eliminate glasses, and just modifying the techniques to be able to reduce or possibly eliminate the need for distance glasses, as well as reading glasses." WHAT TO EXPECT WITH Z-LASIK SURGERY All Laser Lasik surgery is performed on a patient’s cornea, which provides most of the focusing power when light enters the eye. Topical anesthetic drops are applied to the eye. The surgeon first uses a special Ziemer LDV femtosecond laser to create a thin layer of corneal tissue that can be folded back (a corneal flap). Then, another type of laser (an Allegretto Wavelight Eye-Q excimer laser) is used to reshape the underlying cornea, painlessly. After the excimer laser treatment, the corneal flap is repositioned and bonds back into place naturally. The corneal reshaping improves the focusing power of the cornea. Although no one can promise patients “perfect” vision, most Laser Vision Correction patients with mild to moderate prescriptions with or without astigmatism, do achieve 20/20 or better vision. This means that they no longer need glasses or contacts to drive, play most sports, and watch TV. Also, you can participate in careers requiring good unaided vision, such as policemen or firemen need.

As you walk down Hollywood Blvd., which was closed to car traffic much of Sunday, the reality that this city, which is often in the spotlight for the wrong reasons, is indeed a jewel. It's a place where being a business often comes with positive promotion and exposure. At a time when all businesses are not going to be happy with the way the economy has taken a huge bite out of the profits, you really have to take your hat off to those who plan, organize and carry out such tremendous events - that not only attract locals who live there, but families such as the Castros who came up from North Miami to the daylong street party. "Any city that would give its businesses such great exposure should be applauded," said Alex Castro, who owns a business on heavily-traveled 125th Street in North Miami. "The great thing about the businesses down here is that they are not blocked, crowded in or hidden. That is something that many who do not own businesses don't understand." Everything done these days is in the name of a sluggish economy. While sitting there every year and waiting for the visitors to make a difference during the winter and early spring months, this is indeed a city that has played to what they have, often hosting events during the year that keep those who are important to the city happier. For Hollywood residents Charles and Angela Fishbein, the excitement of having such a great event in their own "backyard" is really what brought them to Hollywood in the first place. "There are always some very good things happening in this city," Charles Fishbein said. "We got to take our son, Ethan, here to see the parade, and it was great. A lot of very good and underrated food choices here as well." While the Fishbeins come to downtown a few times a year, there
are those who will tell you that they would put this area against any in south Florida - when it comes to clubs, restaurants and specialty shops. Add in the fact that there has been a push over the past decade to live toward downtown, and Hollywood was quickly gaining in the race to be that mixedusage area that we all heard so much about before the turn of the century. The exposure of the parade, music, food and of course - the drink that flowed throughout the day was something you could not buy. A very pleasant weather day made things much easier to take in some of the businesses, which remained open and did very well the entire day. "We do very well here this time of year, but this day, right here, is easily the best money day for us," said Mike Malone, one of the many vendors who offered up everything from soft drinks to sandwiches and of
course that cold glass of beer. "I tell all the people who work with us that St. Patrick's Day sets the tone for the entire year." Malone is right. Put your best foot forward for those six-seven hours and who knows who will be impressed with you. That is what needs to be in place for any city. Host impact events that showcase and spotlight the people who help give you that year-round city appeal. That is why the great people at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce were out in force to welcome those to the community, offering up so many things to make it appealing to be a member. They were also on hand to promote the upcoming Expo Alfresco culinary event on April 10th at the ArtsPark. BAR BITE MENU IS IMPRESSIVE On a recent visit, my friend and I sat at the bar on a Thursday evening and ordered from their Bar Bite menu. Terry, the very knowledgeable barmaid suggested we try the Mediterranean Cozzie first. I can only say I have never tasted better mussels anywhere. Fresh Mediterranean mussels roasted in an iron skillet, tossed with extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt and fresh lemon juice. They were goodsized, plump mussels (which worried me because of the size, I expected them to be chewy) but they were so tender they almost melted in our mouths. Next we tried the Jumbo Meatball served with Ricotta and Toast Points, and then the New York Style Pizza with a thin, crispy baked crust topped with homemade marinara, fresh mozzarella, imported Romano and fresh basil. Everything was delicious! It was a congenial atmosphere with everyone praising their food and we enjoyed a fun conversation with a former Jockey’s Agent and his wife. Starting at 7:00 PM we were entertained by the wonderful keyboards and voice of Giuseppe Viola who entertains you with classic and pop songs, Sinatra and even Arias from Opera. Giuseppe is there Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

The new expanded smash hit comedy Brothers Beckett on stage at Arsht
The hit play written by playwright David Michael Sirois and directed by Adalberto Acevedo, should be seen by anyone who has ever fallen in love, has had an exceptionally happy dream, a brother or sister or the desire to temporarily remain a child. Kevin Beckett, a graduate of Yale, anticipates the arrival of Tuesday, his beloved girlfriend with whom he plans on spending a delightful week along with his brother Brad, who is also his roommate. When Kevin decides to tell his brother of his plans to propose to Tuesday, Brad's well thought out intentions are to prevent in any way possible, to keep his brother from moving out of their bunkbedded, pink-walled studio apartment, creating one hilarious disrespectful riff on friendship, family, and adult boys who never really want to grow up. Brothers Beckett is a satirical portrait of siblings with a great deal of sharp wit, jokes and dark humor. By Raelin Storey, Public Affairs Director HOLLYWOOD - The City of Hollywood Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts will celebrate spring with the annual Spring Marshmallow Drop from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 23, at the Boulevard Heights Community Center, 6770 Garfield Street. The event is free and geared for Hollywood children of all ages. This annual event features a spring egg hunt for children age 3 to 5 that begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. under the magnificent oak hammock located adjacent to the community center. Youngsters will gather with their baskets waiting to collect colored eggs filled with candy and prizes. They’ll also get a chance to see the Easter bunny and experience the Children’s Play Zone. At 10:30 a.m., hundreds of children ages 6-12 will gather on the sidelines of the athletic field with their baskets and bags in hand for the main event. A helicopter carrying thousands of fluffy marshmallows will then come into view. After passing over the field a couple times to build excitement, children will watch with delight as 30,000 marshmallows are dropped from the helicopter, raining down from the sky to be

DREAMAKERS AFFAIR A REAL SHOWSTOPPER! By Phyllis Green Special from Leading Ladies It was a night of splendor; smiles, style, and serendipity! Like in a storybook. Friendship and charity all came together to honor a most beautiful couple, Candi and Don Casino. After eighteen years of tireless dedication and a million and a quarter later, Leadng Ladies, Inc. auxiliary of the Transplant Foundation, Inc. put its best foot forward and presented “Showstoppers”, an affair to remember. The time was right to honor the one person who actually made it happen. Everyone involved with Leading Ladies knows that it was Candi Casino who persuaded a group of show biz women to become a charity to raise funds for patient services, research, organ donation awareness at a time when very little was known about transplantation. Candi, with her husband Don, run a very successful agency booking talent on cruise ships. But her heart is always in giving back. And this time, the tables turned into an evening

Yes, love was in the air, as guests were treated to a red carpet of cocktails, hors d’oerves, and glamour at the lovely Temple Solel in Hollywood. Greeted by a huge picture of the honorees, tuxedoed men and bejeweled women in gowns were gathering for the festivities yet to happen. When the ballroom opened to dancing with the Marty Kaye Orchestra, the room was decorated with lighted pussy willow center pieces on black and white. Chairladies Beverly Berland and Sonia Klein took the microphone to welcome this elaborate crowd, and thus the program began. President Phyllis

One was a fantastic performance by The Unexpected Boys, an act that plays the ships all year long, doing just pride to their tribute to the Four Seasons, and topping the show off with a fantastic medley of songs from the hit show Les Mis-

1. Heat half of the canola oil in large nonstick saute pan on medium high heat. 2. In a large bowl, mix flour, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss shrimp in flour mixture and coat evenly. 3. Saute shrimp for approximately 3 to 5 minutes on each side in batches (use leftover oil as needed).
4. Remove from pan and place on a plate or sheet tray to rest. 5. Add to the same pan the garlic, wine, and lemon juice; stir and cook until hot. It will start to boil in about 4 to 6 minutes. 6. Turn off heat, stir in cold butter in small amounts until incorporated. Add shrimp back to pan with any drippings, along with parsley and toss or stir until coated. 7. Serve and eat. DIAGNOSING ADHD
(BPT) - What parent hasn't had to call a child's name more than once to get his attention? Or wondered how she can still be "bouncing off the walls" at the end of a long, tiring day. Moments of intense activity or occasional inattention are typical kid behavior, but for some children the problem is extreme and impairing. How can parents tell if their child's energy or distraction is ordinary or something more? In the past decade, the number of children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) rose 24 percent, according to a study published in JAMA Pediatrics, the pediatric journal of the American Medical Association.The disorder is both over- and under-diagnosed. Because the symptoms overlap, ADHD can often be mistaken for other disorders such as anxiety, depression and oppositional defiant disorder. Untreated ADHD can hinder a child's ability to learn and perform well in school, make friends and interact with family, and develop age-appropriate decision-making skills. A mistaken ADHD diagnosis may result in unnecessary treatment, medication and a great deal of stress for the child and parents. Accurate and early diagnosis is key to successfully treating ADHD, experts say. Progress toward a diagnosis usually begins with parental concerns over a child's behavior or problems in school. Symptoms of ADHD can include: * Difficulty paying attention * Frequent daydreaming at inappropriate times * Easily distracted from schoolwork or play * Forgetfulness * Inability to sit still * Excessive fidgeting * Talking too much or speaking without think-

A college student can learn enough about ADHD symptoms in a five-minute Internet search to fake a rating scale and get drugs as a study aid. Family Caregivers Facing Pain Challenges
(NewsUSA) - Every day, many Americans find themselves in an unexpected new role. They become a family caregiver for a loved one suffering from chronic pain. Experts estimate that chronic pain affects millions of Americans. Pain can interfere with daily activities, causing patients to lean heavily on family and friends. Providing care for a loved one experiencing chronic pain presents challenges, such as making sure your loved one reports pain to his or her healthcare provider. Even with chronic diseases and conditions, pain should be taken seriously by doctors and physicians. "Each person feels pain differently. Although it is a physical sensation, perceptions of pain are influenced by social, cultural and psychological factors," said Suzanne Mintz, president and CEO of the National Family Caregivers Association. "It can be difficult to make sure your loved one's pain is evaluated appropriately." Unfortunately, there's little information and few resources available to help family caregivers cope with these problems. The National Family Caregivers Association has teamed up with the pain management education program Partners Against Pain to create Caregiver Cornerstones, a program providing information, encouragement and tools to family members. The four Caregiver Cornerstones are: 1. Learning about pain management. Taking an active role in helping to manage a loved one's pain may help you feel more useful and worry less. 2. Caring for a person with pain. This includes making sure that patients receive proper assessment and follow their treatment plans. 3. Caring for yourself. Being a family caregiver can be a demanding job. Allow others to help provide a support system. 4. Advocating for all people in pain. The Cornerstones program strives to raise awareness about the importance of access to appropriate and effective pain care.

Diabetes and eyes: What your vision is trying to tell you
(NewsUSA) - Diabetes is a serious disease that can affect many aspects of the body -- the heart and kidneys, blood circulation and even the eyes. In fact, diabetic eye disease increased in prevalence by 89 percent between 2000 and 2010 and is a leading cause of blindness among American adults. Despite this, vision care is often overlooked by people with diabetes as they work to manage the many other health problems the disease can cause. According to a survey by the American Optometric Association, 55 percent of people are unaware that diabetic eye disease often has no visual signs or symptoms. Additionally, 44 percent of Americans don't know that a person with diabetes should have a comprehensive eye exam once a year, including a retina (dilated) eye exam. Yet, these exams are the only way to diagnose serious eye diseases associated with diabetes at its early stage. Regular retina eye exams are critical for early detection and treatment of these progressive eye diseases that often begin without warning. The longer a person has diabetes, the higher their risk for eye disease. Over time, diabetes may cause damage to the blood vessels in the back of the eye, known as diabetic retinopathy, which can lead to diabetic macular edema (DME). DME occurs when the damaged blood vessels leak fluid and cause swelling. Although symptoms are not always present, this swelling can cause blurred vision, double vision and patches in vision, which may appear as small black dots or lines "floating" across the front of the eye. Approximately 26 million Americans have diabetes and may be at risk for DME. More than 560,000 Americans have DME. Yet, approximately 55 percent are unaware that they have the disease. African Americans and Hispanics over the age of 40 are also at a higher risk for DME. BROWARD DENTAL IMPLANTS & COSMETIC CENTER PERIODONTAL DISEASE Periodontal disease is an infection of the tissues that support the teeth. Teeth are supported by the gums, or gingival. A tooth's root is anchored to its socket by fibers called periodontal ligaments. The gums do not attach to the teeth as firmly as one might think. A shallow, Vshaped gap called a sulcus exists between the teeth and the gums. Periodontal disease affects this gap. Eventually, in periodontal disease, the tissues supporting the tooth break down. If only the gums are involved in this breakdown, the disease is called gingivitis. If only the connecting tissues and bone are involved, it is called periodontitis Plaque is a sticky film of bacteria that clings to the surface of teeth and gums. Brushing and flossing every day may not completely remove all the plaque, especially around the gum line. The bacteria in the plaque produce toxins that may injure the gums and supporting tissues. Plaque that is not completely removed within 48 hours hardens into a rough deposit called tartar or calculus. Once tartar develops, the only way to remove it is by having the teeth professionally cleaned. Tartar below the gum line causes inflammation and infection. Because this process is often painless, a person may be unaware a problem exists. Causes or factors that worsen gum disease include the following: Because of a dulled immune response and less oxygen in the mouth, smokers are 2 to 7 times more likely to develop periodontitis than nonsmokers. • Diabetes worsens periodontal disease. If a person's blood sugar level is poorly controlled, a worse infection, poor healing, and a greater loss of bone and connective tissue are likely. • Sjögren's syndrome with it's decreased saliva production can lead to periodontal disease. • Stress increases certain hormones that make a person more susceptible to infection. Pregnancy and birt h control pills can also increase hormone levels. • Steroids, antiseizure medicines, cancer medicines, and blood pressure medicines can all affect the gums. Some drugs decrease the flow of saliva, irritating the mouth and making it

GINGIVITIS Gingivitis includes swelling and bleeding of the gums, bad breath, or a bad taste in your mouth. Good teethbrushing and flossing can reverse the affects of gingivitis. Acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis (ANUG) is an advanced and invasive form of gingivitis that causes sore gums and a whitish membrane on the gums. It requires antibiotics as part of the treatment. PERIODONTITIS Periodontitis occurs when bacterial toxins and enzymes destroy the connective tissue and bone. The gums draw back, and the roots of the teeth are exposed. The teeth may become very sensitive to temperature changes, or new cavities can develop. The pocket between the tooth and the gums deepens; plaque in this area is very difficult to remove. Bacteria invade the surrounding structures. When the gums pull away from the teeth, pus develops between the teeth and the gums or the permanent teeth become loose in their sockets. Only a dentist can decide whether the teeth can be saved. WHEN TO SEE MEDICAL CARE A dentist provides major care for diseases of the teeth and gums. A person should visit his or her dentist for the following concerns: • Gums start to bleed. • Gums are swollen and sore.
• Bad smelling breath or a bad taste develops in the mouth. • Gums become very red or very pale. • Teeth are painful. • Teeth are loose in their sockets. If any of the above symptoms are present, plus fever, sweats, chills, or face swelling, go to a hospital's emergency department. Other reasons to go to an emergency department include the following: • The tongue feels swollen or pushes up from the floor of the mouth. • Swelling develops below the chin, especially if it is red, tender, and warm.
PERIODONTAL (GUM) DISEASE DIAGNOSIS During any routine dental examination, a dentist will do a periodontal exam of the gums. The dentist may use a probe to measure the depth of the pocket between the teeth and the gums. Special X-ray films may be used to evaluate the teeth, the bones supporting the teeth, and other mouth structures. If periodontal disease is present, the dentist will make recommendations or refer the person to a specialist (periodontist). SELF-CARE AT HOME • Good oral hygiene prevents periodontal disease. • Brush the teeth at least twice every day. Brushing removes plaque from the inner, outer, and chewing surfaces of each tooth. A
dental hygienist can demonstrate the proper technique. • Get a new toothbrush every 3 months. • Use a toothpaste that contains fluoride. • Floss every day. Flossing removes plaque between the teeth that a toothbrush cannot reach. • Use a mouthwash that kills bacteria, • Eat a well-balanced diet; avoid too many sweets. PERIODONTAL (GUM) DISEASE TREATMENT If the dentist diagnoses periodontal disease, the first treatment will probably include scaling and root planing. More than one visit may be needed for this treatment. Scaling removes plaque and tartar from below the gum line down to the bottom of each pocket. A local anesthetic (Novocain) may be needed to reduce discomfort. The roots of the teeth are smoothed. Smoothing allows the gums to reattach to their roots.
A SMILE GOES Antibiotics and a special mouth rinse may be needed. If pockets are still present after scaling and planing, surgery may be needed. PERIODONTAL (GUM) DISEASE PREVENTION Regular visits to the dentist for cleaning and X-ray films helps prevent periodontal dis-

A ST. PATRICK’S DAY FEAST IRISH POTATO CHOWDER 5 slices bacon 2 large leeks, trimmed of tough outer leaves, sliced lengthwise and chopped in to 1/2-inch pieces Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 tsp. dried thyme 1/4 tsp. dried marjoram 2 tbs. all-purpose flour 2 lbs. russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch thick pieces 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth 2 cups lowfat milk 1 tbs. cornstarch dissolved in 1 tbs. water 2 tsp. white wine vinegar, cider vinegar or lemon juice 1 cup grated Irish cheddar cheese (about 2 ounces) 5 scallions, thinly sliced In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook the bacon over medium-low heat. Drain on paper towels, break into pieces and set aside. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon of bacon fat from the pot. Add the leeks and season with salt and pepper. Cook until lightly browned, about 4 minutes. Add garlic, thyme and marjoram; cook one
minute, stirring constantly. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Add potatoes and give them a few turns to combine. Add the broth and milk, season again, cover and bring to a simmer. Cook until potatoes are tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in cornstarch mixture to thicken chowder slightly. Stir in vinegar and bacon pieces. Taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper as needed. Ladle in to bowls and serve topped with cheese and scallions.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Sift the flour, soda and salt together into a deep mixing bowl. Gradually add 1 cup of buttermilk, mixing with a large spoon until the dough is firm enough to be gathered into a large ball. If the dough crumbles, add some more of the buttermilk, a tablespoon at a time, until the particles adhere. Place the dough on a

Combine 1 gallon of water and salt in heavy large pot. Stir until salt dissolves. Add pork. Cover and refrigerate 1 day. Bring pork in salt water to boil. Boil 10 minutes. Carefully drain salt water. Fill pot with enough cold water to cover pork. Bring water to boil over high heat. Add garlic and peppercorns. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover; simmer gently until pork is very tender, about 3 hours. Transfer pork to large pan. Cover; keep warm. Add cabbage and carrots to cooking liquid. Boil until vegetables are almost tender, about 15 minutes. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cool slightly. Chill uncovered until cold, then cover and keep chilled. Before continuing, rewarm over medium-low heat.) Using slotted spoon, transfer vegetables and garlic to serving platter. Cut pork into thick slices; arrange on platter with vegetables. Spoon some hot cooking liquid over pork and vegetables. Garnish with thyme. Serve with mustard.
