At the age of five after one year of dancing school, Lynn entered and won a talent contest at Tivoli Theater in the Bronx. Sang and danced on Rainbow House WOR Radio. Auditioned and won a spot on CBS Horn & Hardart's Children's Hour. Sang and danced every Sunday morning with 8 acts known as "The Most Talented Kids in NY" (5 years). Danced with Ray Bolger at Madison Square Garden "Stars of Tomorrow, Stars of Today." Traveled Orpheun Threatres coast to coast with Major Bowers for one year. Back in NY stuffed my bra, played the night club: Tony Pastor's, Leon & Eddie's on 52nd St; club dates with Jackie Gleason, Red Buttons, Jan Murray. "Chez Paree" in Montreal for 6 months. At a USO Dance met Ira Mitchell, moved to Syracuse, NY where she had her own Radio Show and sang with Bob Planer WNDR (2 years). Started a family and a Dancing School for 20 years. Summers joined the "Merry-GoRound Playhouse" for 6 years. Performed in musical comedies: Annie, No No Nanette, Funny
In 2002, Lynn Mitchell appeared on the Rosie O'Donnell's Show. A year later, she received the "Caregiver's Award" for completing 1,000 benefit shows, which started back in 1927.

Full Moon Drum Circle
Bring a drum or percussion instrument to the Full Moon Drum Circle at the ArtsPark at Young Circle in Downtown Hollywood and participate in a guided drum circle from 7 to 9 p.m. Tues., Feb. 7.
