PROVEN EFFICIENCY AND FULL ACCURACY IN TEMPERATURE CONTROL.

Sunreef Yachts uses the industry’s most energy efficient air conditioning system in its builds that consume 50% or less power than any other system available. Equipped with a BLDC motor compressor controlled by electrical inverter technology that smartly manages capacity on demand, power is directed only where needed, for impressive cooling capabilities and accuracy in temperature control. A titanium gas exchanger complements the system to achieve maximum energy savings.

LIGHT AND COMPACT

To have the smallest footprint possible, weight, dimensions, and quality were highly factored into the design of the air conditioning system, with a priority on incorporating ultralight materials and compact components. Compared to standard units, the compressor box is one-third to one-fifth the weight with framing less than half the size. The titanium condenser meanwhile weighs one-third less than traditional coppernickel units, while having near zero risk of corrosion or fouling and being more reliable and efficient.

SMOOTH, FAST, QUIET OPERATION

Unlike conventional compressors that run noisy start-stop cycles that sharply fluctuate the temperature and power loads, BLDC compressors operate smooth and quiet. Distinct areas in the yacht can cool or heat very quickly through a process that gently accelerates from low speed and inverter frequency to max frequency. The compressor then slows down in approach of the desired temperature and adjusts capacity to hold the temperature constant. The energy-saving and whisper quiet operation, with noise levels between 20 to 45dB, delivers optimum comfort onboard. SMOOTH

Maximum comfort comes with the ability to individually control the temperature of each cabin and area onboard a Sunreef Yachts luxury catamaran. The flexible air conditioning system can easily maintain one room at a temperature of 21°C (70°F) and another at 26°C (79°F) thanks to air handlers that run independent from one another. The system also features impressive dehumidification capabilities that can reduce relative humidity up to 20% in 20 minutes.

SMART CONTROL AND CONNECTIVITY

Another main feature are the convenient touchscreen controls that are simple to use, bright, and very sensitive to touch. From the home unit, you can remotely control a single area or more than one cabin. The system can also be controlled onboard the yacht from any smartphone or tablet connected to wifi. When miles away, maintain full control of temperature settings and modes remotely through the smartphone application or via the internet.

ECO MODE: ON

The air-conditioning setup is divided into several independent units which allows for important energy savings while operating in Eco Mode. At night, the system focuses solely on selected areas and cabins ensuring energy-efficient and ultrasilent operation. Thanks to an innovative controller limiting maximum compressor frequency, the power consumption overnight is reduced to a minimum and optimal temperature is maintained in chosen areas on board.
