Back to business Bay of Plenty cricket fans are in for a treat this weekend, as Bay Oval hosts an international double-header against South Africa this Sunday, March 15. The back-to-back action will begin 2.45pm with the White Ferns facing the Proteas women before the Blackcaps meet South
Africaās menās side at 7.15pm. The Blackcaps squad is set to feature eight Blackcaps from the recent ICC T20 World Cup, including Mitchell Santner, pictured. The Blackcaps captain and seven of his T20 World Cup squad have been included in an extended squad to face South Africa in the
upcoming KFC T20I series, which begins at Bay Oval on Sunday. Devon Conway and Lockie Ferguson will join Santner in the squad for the first three games, while Kyle Jamieson, Cole McConchie, Jimmy Neesham, Ben Sears and Ish Sodhi will be available for the entire series
after comparatively lighter workloads in the T20 World Cup campaign. Bay Oval gates are expected to open 1.45pm Sunday to accommodate the two matches, with organisers encouraging fans to arrive early. Read more on page 15. Photo / Supplied
