Rising star If your eye is on the national sailing scene, 16-year-old Trent Rippey is one to watch. The Tauranga Boys’ College student is one of a new crop rising in the sport – now taking on a solo mission after a three year break. Trent is targeting next year’s youth world champs in a Laser Radial and possibly the open worlds, with a strong Tauranga Boys’ College team also aiming for success in the secondary schools nationals and the inter-dominions.
