Winds of change There’s been a turn of the tide for young sailors, with the addition of the recreational water sport to this year’s AIMS Games, the city’s premier sporting tournament. Come September, the 64 yachties entered into the event will be crossing their fingers for good weather as they prepare to set sail in Tauranga Harbour. Organised by Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club, the sailing format will involve fleet racing in Optimist dinghies.
