The sirens of ambulances, fire trucks and Police cars will be wailing throughout the Bay of Plenty on December 6, but there’s no need to panic. These sirens won’t be signalling an emergency, they’ll be signalling for residents to come outside and donate food items for the local foodbanks. From 6pm-7.30pm, local emergency

services will be driving the suburbs looking for donations. Read more on page 5.
