Coast & Country News is a FREE magazine-style monthly publication circulating to more than 30,000 rural addresses, from Gisborne through to Franklin County including the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Taupo regions. Including a full-range of hard-core farm, orchard and primary industry news, and also the huge lifestyle market.

File Specs
File Specifications
File Type: PDF is our preferred file type for supplied adverts (we also accept EPS files). We can not accept gif, Word or Publisher files as a final supplied advert.
Colour & Resolution: All files must be CMYK and 200dpi. Allow for dot gain of up to 30%.
Size: We measure our ad spaces in centimetres high by columns wide (ie. 10x3 = 10cm high x 3 columns wide - see below for column widths). Please supply your advert at 100% size, with no bleed, trim or crop marks.
Colour Profile: Please use a Newsprint colour profile when creating your ad. If you would like us to supply you with our Newsprint colour setting files, please contact your advertising consultant.
Overprint: Please ensure Overprint and ICC colour are both turned off.
Pantones: Please convert all Pantone colours to CMYK Process.
Rich Black: All black or grey text should only contain a percentage of black, rather than rich black (which contains some cyan, magenta and yellow).
Text: We recommend that you keep all text in your adverts above 8pt bold, and convert all fonts to outlines when exporting your final files. For coloured text, our printers will not guarantee the registration of any text below 12pt, so we recommend that you keep coloured areas to the simplest mix of CMYK possible (preferably 1-2 components).
