C.I.S INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURES was formed in 2018-2019 as a separate division of C.I.S Engineering, with the focus on fabrication of industrial structures for the mining, mineral beneficiation, petrochemical and chemical, water and wastewater industries. PRODUCTS INCLUDE: • Building Structure • Process Support Structures • Process Tanks & Vats • Mechanical Equipment Structures • Piping and Ducting This division is housed in the C.I.S Engineering complex and the plant houses modern automated and semi-automated steel processing equipment for welding, fabrication, bending, rolling, beam drilling and angle working. The division has full access to laser and plasma cutting facilities and hosts one of the most advanced, state-of-the-art CNC Fiber Laser Cutting facilities in South Africa. A full complement of associated design services which include draughting, CAD modelling and structural analysis are offered. Prestanks, manufactured by STRUCTA TECHNOLOGY, offers sectional water storage tanks that are hygienically safe, cost effective and a reliable way to store water for commercial sectors, private sectors and even for personalised storage. STRUCTA PROFILE established in 2009 as an internal plasma profile cutting service centre within the Structa Group, now boasts the following state-of-the-art equipment: • 6kW, 20kW and 30kW Laser Cutters with cutting beds measuring up to 13 300mm x 3 000mm that can process Carbon Steel up to 70mm and Stainless Steel up to 50mm thick. • 20kW Beam/Pipe Laser processes sections from 70–540mm x 13 000mm, including round or square tubes, I-beams, channels and angles, cut to size, holes, notching, etc. • Three HD Plasma Cutters with a combined bed size of 54 x 3.2m which can cut stainless and carbon steels up to 35mm thick with a tolerance of ±1mm or less. Oxy fuel cutting options are available up to 300mm thick. • Other Services: bending, welding, assembly, beam drilling, angle punching and cropping.
