Empty and refill your hot tub
Tools you need Some of the tools needed to help with the draining and cleaning of the spa. Bucket, Hose pipe, Cloths, Filter cleaner
Chemicals Chemicals needed to clean the spa and filters. Hot tub flush, Surface cleaner, Cartridge cleaner, Shock Pot, Test strips and a Spa Disinfectant ie Bromine or Chlorine
First remove the filters Put filters in a bucket of water and add cartridge cleaner to the bucket of water now add the filters and let soak
Hot tub flush Add the right amount of hot tub flush to the spa with the jets on. For best results add to warm water and leave 2 - 4 hours
How to drainPlease the hot tub locate the drain plug Step 1 Pull out the drain valve slightly turning un l it comes all the way out Step 2 Unscrew the cap Step3 Now with the cap removed push the valve half way back in Step 4 The water should now flow Step 5 When the water has stopped flowing pull the valve back out Step 6 Now you can replace the cap Step 7 Now please push the valve all the way back into the spa

Cleaning Time Now its me to clean the spa shell with the cloths and surface cleaner. For the filter you now need to remove from the bucket and give them a good clean with clean water before replacing back into the spa.
Time to refill the hot tub Before we fill the spa you need to run water from the hose pipe for 1 - 2 minutes this will remove old water in the hose pipe. Now place the hose pipe into the filter housing and fill the spa to the fill line. Now add the right amount of Rapid Shock to the cold water

Chemicals Once the spa water is ge ng up to temperature its me to add Spa Disinfectant ie Bromine or Chlorine please read the container for full instruc ons and ask your spa dealer for the water volume of your spa.
AquaSPArkle Spa Chlorine granules is one of the most popular products for ensuring spa water is safe and bacteria free. Apply daily to achieve the recommended free chlorine level of 3-5 mg/l (ppm). These granules are rapid dissolving and have li le effect on the pH of the spa water AquaSPArkle Spa Bromine Granules are a highly effec ve sani ser formulated to kill and prevent bacteria and algae growth in a spa. They are a rapid dissolving and easy to vary the dose rate to suit requirements. These granules have a fairly neutral pH so wont upset the water balance and they are also effec ve over a wider pH range.
Test strips provide a quick and easy way to test your hot tub water. They offer tests for free chlorine, bromine, pH and total alkalinity. Simply dip the strip in the water and remove immediately. Hold horizontally for 15 seconds (do not shake excess water from the strip), then compare the colour pads with the chart on the test strip bo le.
Time to power on the spa Priming Mode : This mode will last for 4-5 minutes
You now need to prime the pumps by pressing the LIGHTS bu on on and off 5 - 6 mes with a pause between each press. This needs to be done while ( RUN - PMPS - PURG - AIR - – – – – ) is on the screen. This is now trying to remove any air from the circula on pump.
You now need to prime the pumps by pressing the JETS bu on on and off 5 - 6 mes with a pause between each press. This needs to be done while ( RUN - PMPS - PURG - AIR - – – – – ) is on the screen. This is now trying to remove any air from the main pump.
Once the system has exited Priming Mode, the top side panel will momentarily display the set temperature but the display water temperature yet, as shown below. This is because the system requires approximately 1 minute of water flowing though the heater to determine the water temperature to display it.
