The Electra-Flow™ Electric Ink Pump is the evolution of the double diaphragm ink pump; however, it is electrically powered to reduce operational costs. Using a low-voltage DC motor in a cycloidal motion to oscillate opposed diaphragms, Electra-Flow™ eliminates air consumption (added stress to the compressor), fittings, tubing, and solenoids.

The pump can be configured into separate halves, combined together or as dual inlet/outlets.

Electra-Flow™ is available as stand-alone kits or integrated into ink system controls.

How It Works 1. two pump heads are timed so that one head is taking liquid in and the other is expelling 2. smooth reciprocating action of the crank mechanism reduces pulsations in the liquid flow 3. duckbill check valves direct the flow of ink in one direction (eliminating backflow) and allow scrap to pass through
