AN ARCHITECTURAL STATEMENT

DESIGNED BY UPWALL | BUILT BY MCGINNIS

Designed by Salt Lake City–based Upwall Design in conjunction with Studio Pace and built by McGinnis Homes, Copperfold immediately distinguishes itself through a bold composition of copper, bronze, and brass-clad trapezoidal forms. These geometric masses nest into one another in a rhythmic sequence, a subtle “Russian doll” effect, while sloped rooflines mirror the natural grade of the land.

A glass-railed bridge delivers a dramatic arrival, guiding guests into approximately 8,200 square feet of living space. Inside, ceiling heights rise and fall in deliberate progression— intimate, grounded moments unfolding into expansive vaulted volumes, culminating in a monumental wall of leaning glass that frames the Uinta range in cinematic scale.

MATERIALS IN HARMONY

ENDURING. INTENTIONAL. ELEMENTAL.

Copperfold’s material palette is as intentional as its form. Clear vertical-grain Alaskan yellow cedar flows seamlessly from exterior to interior, softening the modern lines while forging a tactile connection to the surrounding forested terrain. Indiana limestone, the same enduring stone used in the Empire State Building, The Pentagon, and The National Cathedral, anchors both the interior and exterior with a sense of quiet permanence.

SCULPTED IN QUARTZITE AND COPPER

Quartzites including Fusion Blue and Taj Mahal wrap counters, islands, and hearths in dynamic movement and remarkable durability. Venetian plaster walls meet backlit cedar ceilings in layered light and shadow.

Folded copper sheets form a luminous exterior skin—bold, resilient, unmistakable.

FRAMED BY THE MOUNTAINS

8,200 SQUARE FEET OF ELEVATED LIVING

Natural light filters through clerestory windows, illuminating the quartzite fireplace while drawing the eye outward to uninterrupted mountain vistas. The great room anchors the home in warmth and scale—equally suited for intimate evenings or grand gatherings.

DESIGNED FOR GATHERING

CULINARY PRECISION MEETS EFFORTLESS FLOW

The kitchen centers around a Taj Mahal quartzite island designed for connection, with seating for ten opposite. A curated appliance suite— Gaggenau, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Miele—integrates seamlessly into custom millwork.

A discreet butler’s kitchen enhances functionality while preserving clean sightlines for entertaining.

MODERN INTELLIGENCE: INTEGRATED PERFORMANCE

State-of-the-art systems include Crestron, Lutron, Ecobee, Samsung, LG, Dornbracht and Brizo fixtures. Advanced HVAC systems provide year-round comfort across every space.

Every detail reflects precision, discretion and control.

A PASSAGE OF ART AND LIGHT

A corridor designed as a sculpture gallery leads to a floating staircase with a dedicated seating area—an architectural pause before entering the private quarters.

MASTER SUITE

A PRIVATE SANCTUARY

Gallery-scale walls, dual seating areas, and a statement fireplace define the primary retreat.

The spa-like bath is wrapped in dramatic bookmatched stone, complemented by a generous walk-in closet.

The suite offers both retreat and perspective— elevated yet grounded.

BEDROOM SUITES

3.5 BEDROOMS | 4 BATHROOMS

Three and a half additional bedroom suites, one full bath, three three-quarters baths and one powder room unfold across the lower level. Dual laundry rooms and integrated systems ensure seamless living.
