Ultra High UV resistant Resin wicker

The most realistic and extensive UV resistant protocol in the industry, resin wicker is guaranteed to not experience any significant color change for 5 years. Our ultra realistic resin varies in color and texture, making each piece is unique. wicker is memory Available in resin, vinyl or polyethylene, all tested to 50,000 compressions and is hand-woven over our steel-reinforced heavy gauge aluminum extrusions with a triple antique hand applied finish using nano-ceramic technology.

Cast Aluminum Superior grade molten aluminum alloy is hand-poured into a mold made from exceptionally detailed woodcarvings. Each casting is hand polished to provide a smooth, finished surface for painting. After a multi-step cleaning process, the furniture receives a baked-on powder paint coat, much thicker and harder than conventional wet paint, followed by a hand-applied antique accent.

Wrought Aluminum Features heavy, .65mm wall thickness tubing, strengthened at stress points with galvanized steel inserts, triple hand polished 360° welds, and a highsolids polyester, powder-coated finish, ten times thicker than wet-coat paint.

Marine Grade Designation

Collections showing the Ocean logo are designed for harsh ocean front environments. These groups, like our marine grade teak collections, with mortise and tenon construction, and our fully woven collections have the highest UV and salt spray resistance in the industry. All resin products are hand woven over a rust-proof hand-welded aluminum frame, finished with a baked-on high quality polyester.

All of Summer Classics polyester and hybrid-acrylic finishes are designed to exceed industry standards for UV resistance. Our super durable clear coat prevents the need for refinishing. Our finishes are guaranteed to not experience any significant color change for 5 years.

Each of our metal frames is pre-finished with a nano ceramic pre-wash. This important step pits the metal surface creating ten times the surface area for the powdercoat of paint to bond to. The result is a paint finish that will last far longer than traditional powdercoat processes.

n 1978, I left the textile business and worked as a wholesale representative along the eastern United States, but by the 1980s I realized no furniture met my expectations of quality. Shortly thereafter, I decided to enter the industry to create elegant outdoor furniture, and I established Summer Classics®.

This was the beginning of a long and exciting journey.

long this journey, we have made a commitment to careful design and product innovation. We have also spent a great deal of time and effort selecting only the finest raw materials for use in manufacturing our collections, including paint, aluminum, wood and resin. The development of these materials has become one of our proudest achievements and has set us apart from other outdoor furniture manufacturers.

his year we have continued in our ambition to bring you the finest in quality furniture. We teamed up with Sunbrella® to design our custom outdoor rope for the Marina collection, using their best proprietary yarns. The natural appearance of rope, combined with our new mahogany finished frames meet the standard and expectation of timeless Summer Classics’ design. We have re-engineered our N-Dura™ UV-resistant synthetic resins and designed several new collections using mixed materials like aluminum, teak, stainless steel, and acrylic-PVC fabrics to bring you groundbreaking hybrid products, such as our Dolphin collection. Combine this with the most innovative fabric design and selection process and you get an outdoor experience that is simply not achieved by from any other company.

he Summer Classics® fabric design team has also spent countless hours perfecting the color and texture of our fabrics to create silk and raw linen looks, such as our Pumice, Opal and Aloe Colores collection. These fabrics will weather the harshest environments with ease and can be cleaned with household detergents to remove even difficult stains and mildew.
