One hundred years in, Southern University Laboratory School is standing strong as we embrace Scholarship, Legacy, Family, and Championship Spirit These are the guiding pillars that hold our school together Nearly a century ago, our school was founded on the premise of educating future generations of leaders in partnership with Southern University through its College of Education; thus, serving as a focal point for teachers

As we endure the pandemic, the SULS family was able to continue to promote a learning community where scholars discover and develop to the fullness of their own unique capacity Students are invited to experience education through dynamic instruction self-directed exploration and creative activity Today we are proud of the spirited way our students and alumni continue to embody and further these ideals.
