Suhel Seth is one of India's better-known writers and brand consultants. His humour, wit, and way with words have also made him a highly followed columnist and speaker at various business and marketing events in India and abroad. His tongue-in-cheek relationship advice in the Graffiti, the Sunday magazine published by The Telegraph, made him a household name. Besides being all this and a highly followed Twitterati, Suhel Seth is also a versatile actor. He has hundreds of English and Hindi plays to his credit. Seth is also a member of the international board of Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA). Suhel Seth’s stint in Bollywood has been a short one but has impressed both viewers and critics immensely. His first silver screen appearance was in the 2005 Hindi thriller Rog, written by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Pooja Bhatt. The film starring Irrfan Khan and Ilene Hamann, centres around the murder investigation of a model. Suhel Seth plays Harsh, a popular journalist and a suspect. This is possibly Seth’s most prolific performance till date and showcased him as a gifted actor. His next Bollywood appearance was in the 2010 hit directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Guzaarish. This Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai starrer is a very sensitive and compelling one. It is the story of a former magician who is a quadriplegic and seeks the freedom to legally end his life (euthanasia). Suhel Seth plays Dr. Nayak, the protagonist's doctor who is torn between his medical ethics and his friendship with his patient. It is another beautiful portrayal of the inner turmoil that medical professionals often face.
