CASE STUDY TWO

Micro Bubble Coolant Cleaning and Purification Unit | JCC-HM Reducing Process Fluid Contamination by Nearly 90% in Just One Month

CUSTOMER OVERVIEW A hydraulic manifold manufacturer faced increasingly stringent cleanliness requirements from end users. To prevent contamination from entering hydraulic systems, components were required to have no residual foreign particles measuring 0.3 mm or larger. Maintaining this standard required keeping the cleaning solution itself as clean as possible, making contamination control within the cleaning system a critical priority.

KEY CHALLENGES

Meeting Strict Cleanliness Requirements for Hydraulic Components To prevent contamination-related issues in hydraulic systems, the customer needed to ensure that no foreign particles measuring 0.3 mm or larger remained on finished parts.

Maintaining a Clean Cleaning Solution As contaminants accumulated in the cleaning solution, it became increasingly difficult to achieve consistent cleaning performance and maintain required cleanliness levels.

RESULTS: JCC-HM Performance Improvements By installing the JCC-HM Liquid Micro Contamination & Oil Removal Unit to continuously purify the dirty tank of the high-pressure cleaning system, the customer significantly reduced contamination levels in the cleaning solution and improved overall process cleanliness. Reduced Contamination in the Cleaning Solution by Nearly 90% The amount of contamination in the cleaning solution decreased from 33.5 mg/L to 3.55 mg/L, helping maintain a cleaner operating environment and supporting more consistent cleaning performance. Significantly Reduced Large Particle Counts JCC-HM dramatically reduced the number of contaminant particles throughout the measured size ranges: • 100-150 µm particles: reduced from 603 to 152 • 150-200 µm particles: reduced from 133 to 15 • 200-400 µm particles: reduced from 49 to 12
