Families across the district fretted last week after an image circulated online about an attack at Hightower High School, according to a news release. District police are still investigating the matter, which appears unrelated to the other issues, but it doesn’t appear the threat was credible, according to the release.
Extra police officers will patrol the campus and campus leaders will host assemblies with the student body to explain why the behavior was unacceptable, according to the release.
Soon, Fort Bend ISD may be in the market for many more officers just like Adams, if voters approve giving the school district extra tax revenues in November, said David Rider, the district police chief.

But what I do know is that he is still just 22 years old, and the Astros’ decision-makers clearly see the potential bundled up in the right arm given his quick rise across four levels of minor league baseball since the start of 2021. At this point, trust the track record of the franchise that seemingly appears to have a wishing well where they can scoop productive pitchers up on a whim.

The numbers have admittedly not been the most sparkling for Tamarez thus far in 2022. But here’s the thing – when you have a young player, sometimes the process and makeup are most important early on in the game, as opposed to raw results. Of course you want results, and ultimately the 22-year-old needs to consistently produce results to build on the enormous potential in that right arm. Hi I'm Tea! Let me tell you how I got here & where I'm going! My story starts off on the pavement, where a really nice lady found me. She gave me some food & some water and put me in a box to bring me to the Houston Humane Society. It was scary at first, people were new to me. But after a couple of days, I was picked up by a really nice lady and her daughter! They brought me to their house so that I could grow big & strong. I was only tiny back then! When I got there another kitten was already living there! They let me out of the kennel they brought me home in, and when I trotted over to meet my fellow feline, I realized! It was my sister!!! I had been looking for her everywhere on the streets for a while, and was very sad when I couldn't find her. She showed me the ropes of being a house cat! We played, snuggled, purred, and napped on the couch every time we could. The humans that lived in the house helped me grow big & strong enough to go back to shelter and live with a kitty crew so that I could find my FOREVER home, just like my sister! They told me that a forever home wouldn't care that I am FIV+ because they would know that it's no big deal & that because I am friends with other kitties they wouldn't have to worry if there was another kitty in the house. I actually prefer it! They also told me my forever home would be warm, loving, and be FULL OF TREATS!

Suya Hut’s story, as told on flyers inside the restaurant, is that the owner began receiving compliments about her suya and eventually decided to open a restaurant. Perhaps this is a key point about Suya Hut –while there’s a bevy of menu items featuring cuisine from across northern Nigeria, the restaurant took its name from the smoked spice meat skewer for a reason.
