A dry nine day period ended on the 4th and rain was recorded on twenty-two of the next twenty-six days. Thunderstorms were experienced on lOth, 17th and 19th, snow showers and hail also occurring on 19th. T h e unsettled weather continued with few days without rain. •77" feil on 7th, -62" on 14th and -70" on 22nd. T h e longest dry spell was the three days 16th-18th. In all 3-79" of rain feil, being recorded on twenty-two days. Night temperatures feil to + 7 ° C . on 3rd and 4th and to + 9°C. on 30th and 3Ist.
