Only the first 2,000 people purchasing tickets to the Suffolk Ruritan Club’s 2022 Shrimp Fest will have the opportunity to enjoy their tasty creations.

Tickets are $40 per person for the AYCE shrimp, BBQ, coleslaw, iced tea and adult beverages available from 3-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7.

During the feast, enjoy live music by Island Boy.

The all you can eat fundraiser helps to fund scholarships awarded by the Suffolk Ruritan Club.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at any of the following ticket outlets: Line-X of Suffolk, Ricky’s & Roy’s, Mike Duman Auto Sales, Suffolk BBQ, Citizen’s Bank Windsor, Ricky’s Carts, Major’s Signs, Suffolk Visitor Center, Carts Unlimited and Grafik Trenz. Payment for tickets is cash or check only, no credit cards are accepted. Checks payable to “Suffolk Ruritan Club.”

The event is one of the traditional kick-off activities for Suffolk Peanut Fest each year. It also serves as a great social gathering, officials with the Ruritan Club said.
