titus welliver Suffield Academy’s 188th Commencement speaker for the Class of 2021 is Titus B. Welliver P’21. Titus is an acclaimed actor of film, television, and theatre who is best known as the titular character in the Amazon Studios series Bosch. Titus has also appeared in a wide variety of work in film and television including Transformers: Age of Extinction, Argo, Promised Land, The Town, Gone Baby Gone, The Mandalorian, Lost, Sons of Anarchy, The Good Wife, and Deadwood. Mr. Welliver’s paintings and prints are exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Detroit Museum of Contemporary Art, and in private collections. “Since my first visit to Suffield when accompanying my son for his interview I was taken by the energy of the students and faculty we met. From the classes we visited to the many individual conversations we had, it was clear Suffield was a real community filled with inspiration and warmth. In the last four years I have observed Quinn’s journey at Suffield and am happy to say he has flourished and been challenged.
