HELP US OPEN DOORS… When St. Francis High School welcomed its first class in 1927, our founder, +Fr. Justin Figas, OFM Conv. was determined to make certain no young man would be turned away because his family could not afford the cost of tuition. This guiding principle laid the foundation for students from all backgrounds to reap the benefits of a Franciscan, Catholic education.

Today we remain committed to Fr. Justin’s vision of a socioeconomically diverse college preparatory school. St. Francis continues to open doors of opportunity to students from Western New York and beyond and provides them with a caring environment that fosters academic growth and habits of the heart that are transferable to their life experiences in college, the work place, their families and their communities.

We cannot, however, do it alone. We need your support. With nearly 80% of our student body receiving over 2 million dollars in financial aid, it is essential that each member of The St. Francis Family do their part to perpetuate our mission.

And so, in the spirit of our founder, I humbly ask that you please make a gift appropriate to your means to the 2021-2022 Annual Appeal today.

All donations to the Appeal are used to provide vital financial assistance to deserving families, helping them access the lifelong benefits of a St. Francis education for their sons.

t. Francis has allowed me to become the man I am today in so many ways that I can’t imagine where I might be without the values this community has instilled in me and the encouragement I received to try different things. One significant example is my participation as a member of the football program.

Growing up I played soccer and had a talent for the game, but football always grabbed my attention as well. When I was a sophomore, I decided try out as a special teams player. Two years later, with some hard work and the support of my teammates, coaches and teachers, I am the kicker and punter on the top ranked high school football team in Western New York. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to play on the football team and all the experiences that come with it and know that my dream probably wouldn’t have happened had I attended a different school. The great friendships I built, the amazing education I received and the lifetime memories I have made at St. Francis High School are remarkable.

My four years here have been an incredible blessing that am truly grateful for.

oming from a public school I was hesitant to come to St. Francis. While it took me awhile to adjust to the new environment here, I can confidently say that attending St. Francis High School has been a true blessing. It has provided me with countless opportunities to get involved and become a more well-rounded person. Teachers have motivated me to do my best in class and my counselor Mrs. Krug encouraged me to join clubs and try new things. It is through my involvement in Mundi Eventus and DEI that I have come to experience the St. Francis brotherhood. I have met new people and have many friends who I now consider my brothers. As I begin my junior year and look forward to my future, I know I will be ready for college and am excited about all of the possibilities it will bring. Not only do I know that St. Francis has been a great experience for me but I am encouraging my little brother to become a Red Raider and hope to send any sons I may have here someday.
