Welcome to Justinian XXXII, The Renaissance Man, the celebration of the proud tradition that is St. Francis High School. We have seen many changes over the past 85 years, but the one thing that has remained constant is our commitment to providing a quality Franciscan Catholic Education. Our young men, educated in the Franciscan tradition are truly Renaissance Men. They are known by faith, critical thinking, service to others, integrity, self-discipline, concern for the environment and openness to lifelong learning. Justinian is a celebration of St. Francis’ proud and successful history. St. Francis High School was Fr. Justin Figas’ dream, and we are the reality, working together to make a difference in the lives of the young men of St. Francis and to instill the importance of Franciscan values. Tonight, you, the benefactors and friends of St. Francis, can continue to make a difference. Your generosity and support of tonight’s Justinian helps tremendously to ensure that future generations reap the benefits of a Franciscan Education right here at St. Francis High School. An auction like the Justinian is only possible with the help of many people working together. Thank you to all who have helped in any way. A special thanks to this year’s co-chairs Paul & Sue Santandreu, Jeff & Julie Stefaniak and Steve & Sarah Tasker. Thank you to Tony Kosowski ’75, Kate Taggart and all in the Office of Institutional Advancement, to all the parents, alumni, alumni parents, friends, faculty, staff, business associates and students who have either volunteered or have donated the hundreds of gifts for tonight’s auction. We all share in the legacy of the original Justin Drivers, great benefactors of St. Francis. Enjoy yourselves tonight; please be very generous in your bidding. Bid high and bid often. Thank you for your support and may God always bless you through your life’s journey.

A Message from the Co-Chairs JUSTINIAN XXXII - The Renaissance Man Celebrating the St. Francis Tradition The education of the whole person - mind, body and spirit - has long been the tradition of St. Francis High School. This year’s Justinian celebrates the journey our sons take from boyhood as freshmen to manhood as seniors. They graduate not as ordinary men, but as men of character and integrity who are equipped to make a positive difference in the world. Our St. Francis Renaissance Men are encouraged to become the best they can be through the avenues of academics, arts, athletics and, above all, faith. Most importantly, our St. Francis gentlemen are taught that every strength and talent they possess are gifts from God. They are encouraged to use these gifts for the glory of God and for the good of their fellow man. The St. Francis Renaissance Man is one who knows that the ultimate source of every gift, of every opportunity, and of every challenge is God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. St. Francis heard a message from God, “Rebuild my Church.” And so he did, both literally in the rejuvenation of a crumbling structure, as well as, spiritually in a renewal of the faith of God’s people. As we celebrate the themes of rebirth and renewal, we cannot help but be thankful for the opportunity our sons have to develop themselves as Renaissance Men while attending St. Francis High School.
Paul & Sue Santandreu, Jeff & Julie Stefaniak, Steve & Sarah Tasker MEET OUR MASTER OF CEREMONIES Mr. Michael Messore is a graduate of the Class of 1991.
