Shown above are two of the nurses’ tables at the CoVID-19 vaccine event sponsored by Tanner Health System and held at Tabernacle Baptist Church located on the bypass in Carrollton. It was part of a two day event on April 27th and April 28th. The vaccine was free, and no appointment was necessary. Walk-ins were welcomed with a smile, a touchless temperature check, and some medical forms to fill out. Over the two days, 734 first-doses and 44 second doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine were adminstered. As of May 4th, Tanner has adminstered a total of 21,029 doses of CoVID-19 vaccines. After receiving a vaccine, participants were asked to wait 15 minutes before exiting, hence the huge digital clock shown on the church’s gym stage. Photo by Sue Horn DON’T MISS AN ISSUE!
