OLALA INTERIORS is a multidisciplinary decor and design studio with its own bespoke manufacturing division. We are delighted to announce that OLALA INTERIORS recently received two, much coveted 5*Star Best in South Africa awards of the 2020/21 International Property Awards in London UK. To be presented with one of the Africa & Arabia Property Awards, as part of the International Property Awards, is highly prestigious and widely recognised across the globe. A total of 25 countries from across both regions were represented this year and OLALA INTERIORS was ultimately presented with the highest scoring 5 STAR AWARD and recognised as the BEST in both the ‘INTERIOR DESIGN - PRIVATE RESIDENCE’ and the ‘KITCHEN DESIGN’ categories.

The project submitted for both categories was a home situated in the beautiful Zimbali Coastal Estate in KwaZulu Natal. OLALA INTERIORS enthusiastically delivered a luxurious escape with this multi-level home designed as a family sanctuary. The design team embarked on a journey to capture the innate generosity of a socially engaging family, which required much intentional design and consideration. Making use of plenty of tactile textures and incredibly high-end fabrics, luscious velvet’s and the client’s love of lighting, the team ensured that this home embodies lux coastal living. All built-in-cupboards, vanities, kitchen cabinetry, plasma units, dining table, study bookcases and desks were custom designed and built by OLALA INTERIORS for this home enabling the design team to use each space to its very best advantage.
