A ceremony was held at the municipal covered quadrangle graced by members

of the local government of Socorro, the Department of Agriculture, Department of the Interior and Local Government and representatives from the Department of Health Regional Office XIII. CAGAYAN de Oro City–– The local chief executive of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, had lauded the arrest of seven drug suspects over the weekend. Mayor Alexis S. Quina said this development is good for the municipality. “Here in Balingasag no one is above the law,” he said. Two of the arrested men, identified by the local police as Porfirio Roa Jr. and Roy Roa, are younger brothers of Vice Mayor Marrietta Roa-Abogado.
