MISAMIS ORIENTAL - Provincial Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano has ordered all jail personnel in the provincial jail to undergo a thorough body search before they would be allowed to enter the premises of the Misamis Oriental Provincial Jail (MOPJ). Emano issued the order effective Wednesday after the local police and the jail personnel recovered six sachets of the illegal “Shabu” (Methamphetamine Hydrochloride) in the room of one of the inmates during a surprise search last Monday. During an interview with a local radio reporter, Emano has expressed the

apprehension that the illegal “Shabu” gained entry in the provincial jail only with the connivance of the jail guards.
