Manila Teachers Party-List awards Ulirang Guro winners MANILA Teachers Party-List will announce the regional winners of the Search for Ulirang Guro 2016 during the annual celebration of the World Teachers Day on Friday (September 30) in Davao City.
The Search for Ulirang Guro, a pet project of Manila Teachers Party List, will serve as one of the highlights of the World Teachers Day celebration Davao, said Congressman Virgilio Lacson. BUTUAN CITY -- Agusan del Norte First District Representative Lawrence Lemuel Fortun has filed a bill to provide a reward system to whistleblowers, protection against retaliatory actions and ensure their security as well. In filing House Bill No. 00047 entitled “An Act Providing for the Protection of Whistleblowers, Ensuring their Security and Providing Benefits for their Welfare” or the “Whistleblower Protection Act of 2016”, Fortun said the bill “seeks to purge the government of corruption by establishing a framework for whistleblowers and their families.” As defined in the bill, a whistleblower refers to any person who has personal knowledge or access to any data, information, fact or event constituting improper
