B’non gets int’l aid to obtain ‘mother plant’ for high-yielding coffee variety MALAYBALAY CITY — In order to address efficiency issues in Bukidnon’s coffee production, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) granted assistance to Impalutao, Dalwangan, Sawaga (IMDALSA) coffee farmers to source out a mother plant for high-yielding coffee variety. This initiative aims to boost the unique and inherent traits of coffee to become disease-resistant and increase crop yield. In a meeting at Impasugong town, Kristensen See obtain, page B2
