MSU-IIT dominates Metallurgical Engineering board exams ILIGAN City––The Mindanao State UniversityIligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) dominated the board examination for Metallurgical Engineering administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) earlier this month, getting the highest four spots. The exam results, posted in the PRC website on Monday, showed that MSU-IIT even bested the country’s premier education institution, the University of the Philippines in Diliman, which managed to have five topnotchers against MSU-IIT’s seven. The top four MSU-IIT examinees are Aliza Marie Padilla Salces, with a rating of 87.85 percent; followed by Jeraldine Pasaol Lastam, 87.30%; Maryrose Joy Torres Aparece, 85.65%; and Mark Ianne Ledesma Nuñez, 85.50%. Other topnotchers are Jamie Jane Fajiculay Apolonio, UPD, 85.15%; Maria
Theresa Reserva Raganas, MSU-IIT, 83.55%; Narciso Recella Preclaro Jr., UPD, 82.85%; Charles Morgan Raymundo Sayson, UPD, 82.60%; Mark Jayson Famisan Cleope, 82.60%; Terence Justin Festin Dy Echo, UPD, 82.60%; Stephen John Jamora Sanchez, MSU-IIT, 82.60%; and Artric Jeano Valde Morilla, MSU-IIT, 82.45%. Since their separation , they had never been communicating or supporting either financially or emotionally to each other,neither minding each other affair’s; Petitioner’s seek judicial decree of divorce, thereby, severing their marriage bond on May 28, 2002, so that they will have free hand to do what a single man or woman could do without marital burdens. Reconciliation between them had already been diligently employed but all proved futile. WHEREFORE, finding this petition to be sufficient in form and substance, set the initial hearing of this case on November 18, 2016 at 9:00 a.m at which time, date and place. WHEN former President Fidel V. Ramos came forward to denounce the style of President Digong Duterte in the killings of alleged drug lords and his continuous attacks of the United States of America and the European Unions, the personal media of the president countered by destroying the integrity of Ramos. Among other things, Ramos was cited as the president who had numerous lapses and irregularities during his administration, that he is an American boy having graduated from the West Point Military Academy, etc. In short the aging former president is currently being persecuted by the camp of Duterte. When Sen. Antonio Trillianes came forward to condemn the ugly ways of Dutrte in his first 100 days in office, numerous cases have been filed against him. Now the senator who is almost alone in the opposition to act as fiscalizer of sort, is facing the dilemma of defending himself against the horror of alleged fabricated cases. Then Matobato an alleged member of the death squad in Davao City during the regime of Duterte as city mayor, he divulged the existence of the annihilation of the criminals.

He admitted he was one of those who killed hundreds of suspected offenders who were not given their day in court. Sen. Leila De Lima, who heads the Senate an investigation in the numerous extrajudicial killings that claimed the lives of nearly 4,000 victims, conducted what she thought was appropriate, now she is swimming in boiling water and almost alone to defend herself. President Digong personally spent so much time hurling insults and criticisms to a woman accusing her of immorality and all ugly adjectives available on earth. He even urged the senator to resign. De Lima, like a dog which was cornered, fought back and said the president is a proud womanizer. The fight, it seems, is now between two immoral combatants. It absolutely gets serious and wrapped with thrills. Vice President Leni Robredo commented on the killings, she was tagged almost immediately as a threat to democracy. Of course, Robredo who is a straightforward public official and as a lawyer knows her way in the legal circle. This is one lady who is not scared to tell the truth and nothing but the truth. got Isidro could no longer hold her sentiment on the killings, she came out in the open and described President Duterte as a “psychopath.” The people were stunned such a young lady, who allegedly turned out a “cum laude” in her school could be so strong and courageous to condemn the president. In my personal view, I like many programs of Duterte in the government except that I condemn his opening of his mouth too wide and spits bad words then apologize later. His principle as a person is virtually low if not damaged. Hatred, revenge, jealousy, etc. are on top of the attitude of Filipinos. Some

Ramos said the Philippines is a sinking ship. -oooRAMOS, THE “PSYWAR” EXPERT: Even someone who is not as schooled as Ramos in the art of “psywar operations” can see that his statements were not just calculated to cause, but have already caused, not only jitters and fluttering stomachs, but grave and dire forebodings as well that something terribly bad is about to befall the Duterte administration, perhaps his ouster from power. To everyone, picturing someone or something,
especially a government, as slowly going under water is like inviting desertion even by his closest friends and allies, if these friends and allies wouldn’t want to sink with the sinking ship, too. It is intended to create an image of Duterte as having turned into a lame duck leader, capable of being replaced right away. The trouble here is that, Ramos seems an expert on these things. He did this in 1986, which resulted in the ouster of former President Marcos. He did this again in 2001, which saw the ouster of former President Estrada. Surely, Ramos can still do it today, his ripe old age, notwithstanding. -oooWHY IS FVR DOING THIS? The question, of course, is, why would the likes of President Ramos do this to a President that he, Ramos, himself groomed to become the leader of this country, despite his clear lack of a national constituency at the start? Why would Ramos turn against his own choice? The possibilities
are amazing, as they are frightening to many. One big possibility is that Ramos is orchestrating another revolt---his third so far---against a sitting president. This kind of a scenario would most likely result in the removal of President Duterte as president. But then, why would Ramos want to jettison the man he helped become president? Could it be that, as many suspect, Ramos is merely doing the bidding of powerful hands, like that of the United States of America, whose iron-clad grip on the Philippines for so a long time now is being threatened by Duterte’s dislike for anything American, including its current president, or by the country’s growing close relationship with Russia and China?
