OZAMIZ City, Misamis Occidental––Significant insights on the various tracks of the Senior High School (SHS) curriculum was among the topics discussed during the one-day SHS Summit entitled “K to 12, Ato Ni,” held here, recently. The summit also discussed the benefits of the different exits after SHS, and enabled the stakeholders to know the specializations offered by the program, Rebonfamil R. Baguio, Schools Division Superintendent of the Department of Education, Division of Ozamiz City (DepEd-Ozamiz), said. It also gave the participants, the opportunity to appreciate the readiness efforts of DepEd regarding the provision of the voucher system through the Government Assistance for Students and Teachers in Private Education (GASTPE), the Curriculum Framework Design, teachers’ preparations, the infrastructure support program for the construction of laboratories, classrooms, furniture and the provision of tools and equipment.
