PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur--All roads are leading to Naliyagan Festival 2016 as organizers are parading a much bigger array of activities in the week-long ethnocultural festivities slated traditionally celebrated on June 12-17. Committee officers met on the

last week of May to finalize the plans for the traditional programs while pushing for new and exciting events that will be introduced to make the events merrier that will draw more and more local and foreign festival goers. The provincial government has allocated P5 million Naliyagan fund while another P6 million

was earmarked from the proceeds of sponsors being worked out by the Naliyagan Festival Foundation. As usual, the 24th Naliyagan Festival which carries a theme; “Productivity and Unity in Diversity”, the festivities will kick off with a solemn offer to an ecumenical dawn prayer followed by a Holy Mass that will bless the patriotic

being constructed in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon when it signed Wednesday the first bilateral supply contract for an initial five megawatts (5MWs) of “Cleanergy.” “Our area is short of power, and with this supply we hope to solve our problem, this time through renewable energy,” said
