AGAYAN DE ORO CITY - A new television station is being eyed for installation in the city.
Owned by ALIW Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the said media outfit shall be powered by a 10 kilowatt ultra-high frequency (UHF) transmitter. Initially hearing to this effect was done by the National Telecommunications Commission in Quezon City on July 1, 2013 during which the applicant was made to present its compliance to the Commission’s jurisdictional requirements, as well as its evidence, if warranted. Accordingly, ABC is a
100% Filipino domestic corporation, duly organized and existing in accordance with Philippine laws, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and a grantee of a congressional franchise under R.A. No. 7399. The company is requesting for the issuance of a Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) to install the said station in this city. (with report from The Power/ Arjay S.
