BOC-10 confiscates 16 brand new dump trucks

CAGAYAN de Oro City–– The Bureau of Customs in Northern Mindanao has seized a total of 16 brand new dump trucks imported from China. District collector Atty. Ruby Claudia Alameda said a warrant of seizure was issued against the importation because of misclassification. Alameda said the misclassification was in the rate of duty which showed only three percent instead of the correct 20 percent. She said the consignee will have to pay the See TRUCKS, page A11
