CAGAYAN de Oro City -A three (3 ) year old child died in a fire that razed a compound in Sitio Zayas, Barangay Carmen this City. The child identified as Nissan Dave Cabigquis was trapped in a room of their house when his father Roger was rushing out to call for neighbor’s help. He was the lone casualty of the fire incident. The fire which occurred at around 3 a.m. yesterday, gutted some 22 houses in
the said compound. According to City Fire Inspector Arnold Lagbas of the Bureau of Fire Protection in Northern Mindanao, the fire took place at the Cabigquis Compund. It reportedly started at the house of Roger Cabigquis, the father of Nissan Dave. Three other persons were also injured in the fire incident. They were identified as Angelica Tanusan who sustained 1st degree burns; Rudy Gastahon with 2nd degree burns; and Roger Cabigquiz a.k.a “Dodong See fire, page A11
