HOUSANDS of Vice President Jejomar Binay’s supporters converged in Cagayan de Oro yesterday, Saturday, for their grand caravan to drumbeat the expected victory of VP Jejomar Binay. This developed after the 8-million-member El Shaddai endorsed Binay’s candidacy, the other day. CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan de Oro City – The 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division has prepared its troops for deployment for a safe and secure upcoming May 9 Elections since May 5. Days before the election, the Division has established its Election Monitoring Center (EMAC) inside the camp to ensure the monitoring of election-related activities and security efforts within the Area of Responsibility (AOR). Furthermore, the Division has deployed troops in the different provinces of Region 10 and Caraga to support the Philippine

National Police (PNP) counterparts primarily to man the joint PNPCOMELEC-AFP Election Monitoring and Action Centers and deployment of AFP/PNP to secure the communities. The 4ID has also created Quick Reaction Teams stationed inside the camp if the need arises. C A G AYA N D E O R O CIT Y - A mayoral bet in Lantapan, Bukidnon was shot to death inside his home early Saturday, the regional police office said yesterday. Police identified the victim as Armando Ceballos, a resident of Barangay Balila in Lantapan.
