CAMP Alagar, Lapasan Cagayan de Oro City - Elements of the Libona Municipal Police Station (LMPS) and the Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB) hare arrested an alleged member of the New People’s Army (NPA) responsible in the recent attack on Del Monte Philippines and Dole plantations in the province of Bukidnon. Arrested in Barangay Sil-
ipon, Libona town, evening of February 26, this year, was Valeriano Anonsaon Jr., alias “Junior”, who has a pending arrest warrant for ‘attempted homicide’ issued by Judge Lourdes Eltanal-Ignacio of the 1st MTC of Bukidnon. His arrest resulted from the joint manhunt operations by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the
Philippines (AFP), following the February 19 NPA attack on Del Monte and Dole plantations. Immediately after the attack, two ‘rebels’ were arrested by the joint team of PNP/AFP Barangay Kihare, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
