WHILE admitting that tourism in Misamis Oriental is still at its infancy stage, Department of Tourism (DOT) Regional Director Catalino Chan III of Northern Mindanao has encouraged Governor Bambi Emano to continue to pursue his objectives for the development of the province anchored on tourism. Speaking before an enthusiastic crowd during the opening of the “Kuyamis Festiva 2015” on Monday at the provincial capitol grounds, Chan pledged his full support for the efforts of Emano through an appropriation for tourismoriented projects in the province from funds of the DOT.
