DOH launches new anti-pneumonia drive
THE Department of Health (DOH 10) launches on April 15 the “Laban Niyo. Mo.Niya-Libreng Bakuna Kontra Pneumonia” at the Andres Bonifacio Shrine, this city.

BFAR to lead removal of illegal fishing structure in Panguil Bay TANGUB City -- Ceremonial removal or dismantling of illegal fishing structures in Panguil Bay, particularly, filter nets or “sanggab” is set to be conducted in the city on April 17. The activity will be witnessed by Atty. Asis G. Perez, Undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Director-General of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and Visa Tan-Dimerin, director of BFAR, region 10. ‘Safe Motherhood’ program launched in Lanao del Norte
Tubod, Lanao del Norte -- More than 4,000 participants joined the launching of the ‘Safe Motherhood’ program initiated by the provincial government of this province. Lanao del Norte is the first LGU to launched this kind of health initiative that will support national government’s goal of achieving Millennium Development Goals 5 (improve maternal health) and 6 (reduce child mortality).
