DAVAO City––Hundreds of victims of typhoon Pablo from Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley ransacked Tuesday morning the regional office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) along Suazo Street here, looting sacks of rice and relief goods, the state-run wire agency, the Philippine News Agency reported yesterday. Led by the Barug Katawhan group and the militant Bagong Alyansang Makabayan-Southern Mindanao, the typhoon victims stormed the DSWD building and forcibly took the relief items.
