CAGAYAN DE ORO (MindaNews/)—It’s all systems go for the transfer of airport operations here to the new Laguindingan Airport in Misamis Oriental, which is set to operate on April 30. Employees of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) at the Lumbia Airport here were seen Monday making an inventory of their office equipment and planning how and when to transfer their bulky office supplies to the new airport, which is about 50 kilometers away. BUTUAN CITY – As the May 13, 2013 mid-term elections draw near, Butuan City ViceMayor Lawrence Lemuel Fortun appeared headed to a dominating victory over lawyer Roan Libarios in the congressional contest for Agusan del Norte’s First District. Latest results of an independent survey conducted on April 1-7, 20013 by the Policy Center of Father Saturnino
Urios University (FSUU) here showed Fortun as “the most preferred candidate for the congressional seat” by voters, garnering 43.15 percent or more than half of Libarios’ 21.55 percent.
