Go Duterte Go caravan presses on in Cag de Oro By MARK FRANCISCO

THE Go Duterte Go movement in Cagayan de Oro City led by MRRD-NECC regional chairman Candy Darimbang once again conducted a motorcade around the city Sunday (September 5), the second one since its July launch. The group reiterated its support for a 2022 presidential candidacy of Sen. Christopher Lawrence Go with his running mate President Duterte.

More than 500 individuals in 50 cars and 300 motorcycles joined the event following health protocols. The group kicked off the motorcade at 8:00 a.m. at Rodelsa rotunda, touring around Carmen on towards Igpit and Kauswagan all the way to Puerto and back to the city proper via Agora. SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur -- Caraga region is no longer free from the highly contagious Delta variant after the Department of Health Center for Health Development Caraga (DOH CHD Caraga) yesterday confirmed the first case based on the results of whole genome sequencing (WGS) of the University of the Philippines - Philippine Genome Center (UP-PGC). The first Delta case is a 26-year-old female, unvaccinated, and with a travel history from National Capital Region (NCR) last July 10, 2021 who eventually decided to return to Caraga. Prior to her travel, the case underwent a mandatory RT-PCR test on August 2, 2021 and tested positive three days later.
