CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The Bangsamoro communities in Mindanao on Saturday urged President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to certify as urgent the immediate passage of Senate Bill 2025 extending the Bangsamoro Transition. Datu Alan Balangi-Amer, President of One BANGSA Movement, an influential non-government organization (NGO) in Mindanao, said that Duterte could “certify” the bill as urgent to pave the way for the full implementation of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL). PARANG, Maguindanao A mother and her daughter were arrested Sunday by police operatives, for possession of illegal drugs. Maj o r C h r i s t o p h e r Cabugwang, police chief of Parang town identified the suspects as Bae Malayda Mariga, 51, and her daughter Ungal Mariga, 29, both residents of Barangay Gadungan.
