Oro-based transport coop ready for new franchises By MARK FRANCISCO Correspondent

WITH the recent announcement of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTRB) 10 director Aminoden Guro of upcoming new franchises to be released, a transport cooperative based here in Cagayan de Oro City has expressed interest to avail of 50 taxi franchises. In a September 24 letter addressed to Guro, CDO TRANSCO chair Nestor Babol said that they are reiterating their earlier intent to avail of 50 taxi franchises to operate from Cagayan de Oro City. Martin Andanar: On the death of Darwin Dormitorio The Duterte Administration condemns in the strongest possible terms the fatal hazing that took the young life of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Cadet 4th Class Darwin Dormitorio. As the Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security (CORDS) of Region X, I am personally outraged that Cagayan de Oro lost one of its promising sons. As we express our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, classmates, and loved ones of the PMA plebe, we expect the wheels of justice to turn and hold those responsible accountable for this untimely and unjustified killing.
