MISAMIS ORIENTAL: The Padayon Pilipino, the ruling political party in Misamis Oriental, on Saturday named Gingoog City Vice Mayor Peter Unabia as the standard bearer for its provincial candidates come 2022 local elections. Incumbent provincial Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano, the Padayon Pilipino Regional Chairman, said the candidates would be named next week after party members and allied political parties agreed on common candidates. Emano was nominated as candidate for the second congressional district of Misamis Oriental along with incumbent Cong.
