RCWESTCDO Turns Over Livelihood Project THE Rotary Club of West Cagayan de Oro turned over to People’s Sustainable Consumer Cooperative (PSCC) a livelihood project, its additional support on August 25, 2021 at Coopville, Mambuaya, Cagayan de Oro City. PSCC is one of the beneficiaries of the RC West CDO Skyhydrant (water filtration) project, funded by a Global Grant from The Rotary Foundation. This project aims to provide safe water to underserved communities, especially for the children.

The additional support includes one tricycle unit with carrier and several dozens of empty water bottles that were donated by generous members of RC West CDO. These will be used by the PSCC to bring safe water to members who are residing far from the location of the Syhydrant unit and the vending machine that dispense the safe water as well as to non-Coop members who are residing in the neighboring communities. The objective of this support facilities is to economically empower the

PSCC members by helping them generate more income through selling of safe water at a reasonable cost. The turn-over was led by its Club President Clifford Jose Roa. With him were: Atty. Maria Gloria Tango, Service Project-A Director; Past Assistant Governor Almarco Brito, Service Project-B Director; Dr. Dures Tagayuna, Vice President/Club Administration Director; Past Assistant Governor Ferdinand Espiritu, The Rotary Foundation Director; Past President Alain Pacatan;

Past Assistant Secretary Dahly Garcia; Rotarian JC Tangara and Rotarian Marlo Areola, Water Distribution Project Chair. The donated items were received by Ms. Cora Catalan, PSCC Vice-President. She thanked the RC West CDO for this additional support and in behalf of the PSCC she committed to take care of these items and assured that these will be used for its intended purpose.
