P 300,000 bounty for info on suspects in grenade throwing By CRIS DIAZ Executive Editor

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The family of Deputy Speaker Rufus Rodriguez on Saturday raised a P 300,000 reward to anyone who could identify the suspects in the grenade throwing at their residence in Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City Friday morning. Col. Aaron Mandea, the city’s police chief, said that the police investigators have retrieved the closed circuit television cameras spread across the major streets in Nazareth, which provided a concrete outline of the suspects.

He said that the CCTV clearly recorded the act when the hooded suspect lobbed the grenade about 1:12 a.m. Friday at the See BOUNTY, page 11

MARAWI CITY -- Former Lanao del Sur provincial spokesperson of the Marawi siege filed on Friday, October 1, his certificate of candidacy (CoC) to the provincial Commission on Elections (COMELEC) as congressional candidate for the first district of Lanao del Sur in the 2022 national and local elections.

Ziaur-Rahman “Zia” Alonto Adiong, an incumbent member of the Bangsamoro parliament, filed his CoC along with his elder brother, incumbent Gov. Mamintal Adiong, Jr., who is seeking reelection and Mamintal’s son Mohammad Khalid, who is also seeking reelection as vice governor. See SEEKS, page 11
