Ayala debunks allegations made by Laguindingan farmers

he above statement was sent by Ayala Corp to media yesterday to clarify its stand on the latest issue on land reform which involved its properties near Laguindingan Airport. Recent report from local newspapers said that members of Tubajon Farmers’ Association (Tufa) and Moog Farmers’ Association (Mofa) staged a march-protest calling for just compensation from Ayala Land.

Ayala claimed it was the government’s final decision to convert its acquired lands in Laguindingan from agricultural to industrial. Part of these lands were later donated by Ayala to the

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Bislig City mayor Librado Navarro has denied Wednesday he is behind the death of a radio commentator who was gunned down in his city on Tuesday

night. Navarro has maintained he is innocent and even condemned the death of Christopher Lozada, 29, who was gunned down by still unidentified assailants.

SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur--Slain Bislig City hard-hitting broadcaster Christopher Lozada already saw it coming after he received numerous death threats from his mobile phone, a police report said. Chief Inspector Joseph Gementiza, Bislig City deputy police chief, said the victim went to their police station twice this month to report about the death threats from the text messages he received from unknown sources. “Hawa na lang Cris Rapido, dili ka angayan dire.
