MAFAR holds 5-day training to empower employees to effectively implement agrarian reform services By SONNY SUDARIA MDNN News Bureau

KORONADAL, South Cotabato - A 5-day training was conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reforms (MAFAR) purposely to empower agrarian reform officers and the legal team to effectively implement the thrust of the national government, as far as agrarian reform services. The five-day training, which was conducted from

September 27 to October 1, 2021, gave them more insights and tips on the effective delivery of agriculture services, it was learned. Minister Mohammad S. Yacob Ph. D, said in a statement on Friday that these Agrarian Reform officers are in the frontlines of the implementation of agrarian reform. “We know that most of them are newly hired that’s why this training will greatly

help in improving our services,” Minister Yacob said. Jarratul Radjid, chief agrarian reform program officer, said this activity was made to hone the knowledge of ARPTs in making land titles under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) using judicial forms. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The provincial government of Bukidnon granted P 750,000 cash assistance to 30 forme rebels during the symbolic reintegration rites in a military camp in Malaybalay City, Governor Jose Zubiri of Bukidnon said Friday. DATU PAGLAS, Maguindanao The officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform cited the benefits of a rice processing complex during the groundbreaking ceremony of the facility recently in this town. MAFAR Agriculture Director Ismail Guiamel said that the RPC

would help farmers from the area and its neighboring barangays to increase their income by reducing postharvest losses and producing high-quality milled rice. “I hope this project will play a key role in developing the agriculture sector of Maguindanao in attaining food security in the Bangsamoro Region,” he said.
